  1. I put a spacer behind mine, and attached to the front side, ill dig up some pics. I bolted it to that tab by your finger. I installed the t differently though, mc in the middle fitting, caliper on the straight through, slight twist on the tab is needed.
  2. I like the linkage from Elka but its too wide to fit in PRM's skidplate, I even asked them to make one 1/4 of an inch deeper. no dice. it literally needs less than a 1/4 inch to fit. good product though.
  3. ill bet if you actually tested it, it would be minimal. the coolant jacket would still be absorbing the heat, and transferring it to the rad, the cylinders would not transfer much relative heat to the air with out surface area. the only part id worry about is "distortion, or relaxing of the casting, or sleeves. if your concerned, have em checked afterward.
  4. do you have spark?, consistent spark? recent repairs, or work done?
  5. you can do a title search and try to get the titled owner to get the duplicate for you, or they can say its theirs, and walk a way with it.
  6. pa is good for washing the title
  7. How much for the nudes Bennett sent ya?
  8. Trickedcarbine, I had the measurements somewhere, ill remeasure though, need the bushing measurements, or the tubing id? and length?
  9. Jesse, im not easy on the bike, we roll through the trails at a good 40 to 45 mph, at least. the bike soaks up ALOT of large rocks, I don't expect them to last along time, but at least a season. maybe 3, I have elks stage 4s, on it, and 23 inch tires up front, 20's on the rear, I pick good lines, with occasional hits. one good hit sheared the lip off the bushing, I use a good waterproof grease, (may be the culprit after some thought, Lucas)but the chrome is worn through.
  10. the bushings are a different size than stock arms, im getting ready to replace them again tonight, or tomorrow, but the chrome is worn through on the pins, if you have a idea where to get brass or delrin bushing for them id love to hear where. ill get pics and post em up, I do know the silt at mountainridge and hatfeild is super abrasive, and soaks into everything, but I need a better service life.
  11. Anyone have a better solution for the bushings on these a-arms? I know they arent high end arms, but the bushings are wearing out fast. I have replaced a few broken bushings up top, and swapped out worn pins also. they just aren't holding up. My plans are to put zerk fittings in them, to keep the grit out, but it doesn't do anything for the ones getting broken. The upper arms are sliding to the rear and shearing the lip off. I had the stock arms and bushing for 10 years, and never took them apart, Ive had the front apart on these arms 6 times, now. I am just trying to see if anyone else using these arms has had these issues? And if they have any better ideas than having them machined to fit rollers bearings and seals.
  12. the sockets get corroded , and don't have a ton of pressure on the contacts, check voltage at the socket
  13. double check the slides are in the right carb, but that doesnt explain the fuel coming out of the overflows.
  14. Bump for a great tank. appears to be a 5.5 gallon, great piece of mind when I went to Hatfeild Mcoys.
  15. I didn't even look at them both, just looked at the side with more light, phone screen was dim. But yeah, that is interesting, dirt or mismatched jets? mixture screw off, out of sync, ?
  16. Sheerider, what is it that your seeing that makes you say that? Head being light colored?
  17. aren't there stock carbs pretty cheap used?
  18. Powder is kinda thick, usually not as thick as chrome, but some HD powders get thick. its part of the game.
  19. So how much should I ask him to sell that case for? when he pops back up.
  20. Sheerider11, what were you riding? I burned almost 8 gallons a day at Hatfeild Mcoys, stock cyls, fmf fattys, at least 6 hours and just over 60 miles of trails a day. ive never ridden dunes, so I have no comparison.
  21. I use 927 also, at 40:1, I don't mind it, but friends that follow me say the smoke gives them heart burn.
