  1. Don't rely on everything up top to be correct once you get the bottom fixed, ive always worked from the bottom up, and always tried to keep adding fuel if you get what what im saying.
  2. is this on a stone cold engine? and only being run for a few mins? could it be condensation? never used a clear cover, so no idea,
  3. pull the carbs, and clean em, write it all down, the jets, turns on mixture etc.
  4. o and back that mixture screw out a bit to 1and a half turns.
  5. hmm, last thing to check for me, below the main jet is a washer, (not talking about the plastic diffuser cup), are they still there?
  6. What air filter and oil are you using?
  7. might be just a tad lean up top. stay out of that for a bit till the bottem is cleared up and we know its got enough fuel.
  8. Double check your pilot jet, make sure it is indeed 25, and not 35 or 30. I know it sounds like repetition but something doesn't add up. Also check your choke valve, make sure it is working properly, and seating fully? pull it all apart, clean the seal, the clip, and the rod, check the rubber seal , look in the tube etc. Something is just fucky weird.
  9. Im not sure they are still making new oem cdi, so they are also more then likely 10 plus years old too. just a thought when looking for a good used one..
  10. try going up 1 slot at a time on the needle with the clip, if that doesn't bring it in line, drop a jet size, and raise the needle back up . then test again. but youll still need to redo it once you go straight pods.
  11. Are you able to get Alba arms for a 400ex? or just Banshee stuff?
  12. Midrange sounds rich. when you say you move the c clip on the needle, did you raised the NEEDLE, or lower the needle in the tube of the carb, (not the slide), Fresh premium fuel, and good oil, 40 :1?
  13. Last trip to hatfeild, it was wet, and my airbox had a ton of mud in it, no snorkel, front tire splashes right into the seat area. Will an outerwear shed the mud, easily if using pods? never used em before.
  14. Does anyone swiss cheese their Airbox lid anymore with out those little filtered plugs?
  15. Come on you guys, give it a rest. stop turning this into a dick swinging contest. just disagree, and move on. Please.?
  16. Plugs look like old plugs, chomp marks and rust, look into getting 2 new plugs, just to eliminate that.
  17. ^^ that's funny shit right there.
  18. Steering stem arrived fast, packaged well, Stem was bent both directions, chrome was cut through at upper bearing area. I guess I was excited to see a lsr stem for sale, should have asked more questions, Had it straightened, just need to get the chrome off now. Clamp was fine. Thanks?
  19. Next time you put the heat wrap on, soak it first, and pull it tight, it will mold to the pipe better, holds the tag end better too.
  20. is the plug wet with fuel or dry? are you sure theres fuel going to the dead cylinder? swapped plugs left to right?
  21. ugh t taps. worst thing made, ditch those things and do a proper wiring job.
  22. Most of the assholes left Europe along time ago, for a reason.
