Why are you stretching a chain that far after 10 hrs? It also looks like the chain is digging into the side of the rear sprocket, chain may be toast.

I don't like the cheap quality plastic bushings, ( brittle) and the crap metal pins with bad chroming. I started looking for bearings but the tubing isn't perfectly sized after welding. would need machined. Ive broken 3 bushing at Mountainridge, and 1 at Hatfeild Mcoy, The arm moves forward and back too much, caught a tree and few rocks, and it slams the upper arm into the bushing lip, and shears it off. Im not sure if anyone else sells bushing for them, they are a different size than stockers, Alba sells a rebuild pack with same low quality pins for about 30 bux ish. Like I said, I love the arms, bushings and pins .. not so much. I just pulled my fuel valve out a few weeks ago, and it looked just like that with a few bugs and legs.

I picked up a set of stage 4 elkas during their legacy sale, all 3 and a link for 1300, ish. I like them, gotta keep up on keeping them clean and lubricated though. I have the Alba long travel"gullwing" set, love the arms, hate the bushings and spacers.

Damn, didn't even realize that was a Clarke tank till now.

Im amazed how far Maire plastics have come. I remember the old rough textured fenders of old, fit like shit, cracked EASILY, basic stuff.

That was my point kinda, I just hope Elka sold a bunch with that deal they had running. It was too good to pass up.

He can always get it revalved, and set up correctly by sending it out. just time and money.

Just got my Elka's in the mail. Stg 4, long travel , Alba +2 +1 "gullwing" arms, Stg 4 rear with linkage, stock swingarm. All I do is aggressive trail rides, Trevorton, rocky trails. I need to set all this up , and need a good starting point. What do you guys have your long travel arms set at?

The shock was valved for the warrior, does it have the same linkage as a banshee? that will effect dampning at different amounts of travel if its different.

Still have the twister for trade?

What length shock would you use for the long travel arms, once I remove the stock shocks on the adapters. Ride mostly trails, but like xc, some mx. Something like Hatfeild Mcoys trails.
