  1. Those things are less than $15.00 between amazon and ebay with free ship. You'd be halfway there between paypay and shipping if someone, except your neighbor just gave you one.
  2. What does a 795 weigh with the pin?
  3. The Vito's came out of a 4mil short rod with a spacer under the jug. The Vito's piston and pin weighed 232.95 grams, and the new Wiseco and pin weighed 241.37. I didn't weigh with the rings.
  4. Here's a couple pics. New piston on left, Vito's Superstock on right
  5. Before last year it had been years since I've been on the trails. The way we used to do things, we used to cut silencers off, add a stinger, and cut it until the butt dyno told you it was good. Never used to have a problem. Last years ticket was just for going around the guy that was supposed to be at the back of the pack... if that cost $200. I was guessing not having spark arrestors would cost about the same... but the noise could cost more??? Shit, I thought I was doing good with getting spark arrestors...
  6. That's what gave it away, otherwise I almost didn't notice. The key was glued in with silicon that had taken the form and it actually looked like a good key. A buddy was helping me, and was putting the flywheel back on. That's when I noticed all the slop, at first I thought he had knocked the key out... but no. It was a WTF moment for sure!
  7. Well isn't that just dandy... I never really considered db, just the spark arrestor.
  8. Yep, there's grinder marks on it, and half of its gone
  9. Sounds legit! Lol! That's what I'm gonna say in defense when I'm in court fighting the ticket!
  10. I agree, I paid about as much as the "standard" fine cost for the silencers. Last year I got busted for going around someone on the road, and got a ticket for "careless operation of an atv"... cost me over $200!
  11. Oh yeah, forgot to mention someone "modded" the flywheel key, and ground half of it off. The owner already bought a new stator on an advance plate, so he's going to have to get a new key, and a coil with boots and wires.
  12. Ok, got back to this one tonight... turns out to be shitty rusted posts on the coil and boot connections for the plug wires.
  13. So I'm trying to go legal and impulse bought some FMF Turbine Core 2 silencers for my Pro Circuit Platnum pipes.... any reason this won't work out? I realize I'll probably have to do some cutting and welding on the silencer pipes, but other than that will there be a problem?
  14. Up for a +4 swinger. Black or the OE silver
  15. Anybody remember the days of "Roost Boost" and the Yamaha "Energy Induction". I was surprised to see a stock "boost bottle" on a newer Rotax 600 when I helped rebuild some carbs last winter. Seems like its more than just an aftermarket gimmick if OEMs are doing it. Granted, it won't really do anything if you run WOT all the time.
  16. I want to keep the crossover. Maybe its just being anal-retarded about things, but I think it helps buffer the intake pulses and aids in keeping the airflow across the jets more consistant at lower RPMs. Also, I set the cylinders up individually, and the adaptors I made for my sync gauge fit real nice in those ports with the crossover removed.
  17. Lol, they might need to go BAC a few threads!
  18. Does anyone know if UPP part # 1106 is the one for use with the crossover tube? Having problems finding that out on the Googler...
  19. UPP it is then! I'll be running 34 PJs on a trail build, not sure how they'll do, but its nice the UPPs are a little cheaper. To begin with I'll be on Mikuni 28s because that's what I was running, and then switching. Hopefully I'll see an improvement! Thanks for the input guys!
  20. Are there still clearance issues with the actuator arm using the UPP intakes?
