  1. I ran out and looked at mine 3gg-10 and mines a 97.
  2. Matt, I've never run a gasket. Hell, I didn't know one was suppose to go in there until a while ago. It didn't have one when I bought it. I just use the yamabond or rtv stuff. I usually use the copper high temp stuff but have used regular high temp silicone and had no issues. I learned it from a transmission shop. They don't use gaskets on their pans and have very few that ever leak. Same concept.
  3. If it just started doing this, make sure you don't have an airleak somewhere. Check rubber boots, filter, carb tops, etc...
  4. I had fattys with the airbox lid off and stock carbs. It like the stock 25 pilots the best. You may have to play around with them to find out.
  5. Jetting Jetting Jetting!!!!!! You are to rich somewhere. What carbs, pilot, mains and needles are you running and at what position on the needles?

You have a pm. You will need the bolts but I have the rest.
  7. You can't beat that. You can make the stock silencers work with them too. BenBB had to do that for a while.
  8. And you may not get a voucher to get in.
  9. magic racing is pretty good.
  10. Quick..... you're back....stirrin the pot. Gotta love it ... right or wrong. One thing about porting as I always say... it's an art. You can get all the durations you want. You still don't have the area of the ports or volume of the transfers.
  11. A simple firewall is to use a best buy or similar store router. You can also get a free program called zone alarm. Whenever something tries to access the internet, zone alarm will ask if it's okay. It's not bad for the money
  12. That's an excellent idea. Just make sure the drill bits are the same size, or bolts or whatever. I never thought about that.
  13. A 2 wheel drive in a lot snow isn't going to turn well anyway... lol As far as the rear tires, you'll be better off going with a bigger tire and small rim too. They will roll easier in the snow. Banshees and snow just aren't a very good combo.
  14. Did you guys end up going? Hey matt, I'm thinking about shortening my swingarm again. PM me if you can still hook me up!!
  15. You need more than one. Adaware does mostly adware. Spybot does mostly spyware. I personally use adaware and spysweeper along with the free google toolbar that stops popups.
  16. I agree. Banchetta tried them both and like the pj's a little better for his engine. It's not a passion engine. The pwk35mm air strykers are the new and improved version. For the two sets you have, keep the pj's. Your builder is familiar and will much more helpful in the jetting process.
  17. Cheapest is to have the stock head recut and milled, drop in a new crank, sell the bad one, bore, hone and piston kit. Next option same as above with noss head. Then you can go higher on compression if you want some more bottom end and decide to use race gas. Fastest option, new stroker crank, porting, carbs, airbox mod or pod filters, clutch very soon, noss head, sell the bad crank, bore, hone and piston kit.
  18. Straight from the mouth of Eric Gorr..... And, man is it true!!!
  19. Meat sent me some pics of the vitos. I don't know if they were the super stocks or the power pistons but they were definitley a thicker skirt. I always run wiseco. Old reliable
  20. I had mine flipped for a long time. I did notice that in rough stuff it was harder to hang on to the handle bars. The quad wanted to go it's own directiona little bit. I didn't like it. I put mine back the way it was. You could just ride your buddies and see if you like it. Our riding styles will be different. You might just love it. Also, your suspension will seem really soft when you do that.
  21. You could either fab the stock silencers somehow or buy sparky's.
  22. You can add a resivoir to the elka's later if you decide you need them. The "rezzies" are just there to keep the oil cool when beating the crap out of them like on a motocross track.
  23. Just look into the slides from the rear. Check them at full throttle or when they line up with the top of the opening of the carb. The slides should be flush with the top of the carb opening at the same time. If not, adjust one or the other. Then, adjust the idle screws, if you have them, so they lift off at the same time. This way they are in synch the whole time.
  24. $200 !!! You could get your motor ported for $200 a cylinder.
