Yeah pickup gap is about .017 and plug caps I'm not sure about so I will pick up a new set. I do know the coil came off a running bike

I'm having a similar issue. I am going to check my orange wire tomorrow. We might be fighting the same battle as I have continuity also just no fire. Three cdi's two coils and a stator and flywheel.

Have you checked continuity in the orange wire across the harness

I have bought three CDI boxes. Put them on my banshee and they are not allowing it to fire. Took them to a buddy of mine and they don't fire on his either. Is there something in my wiring that could be frying them? I have a new stator and pickup coil. Also a new ignition coil. Key switch and kill switch test good. I also have checked harness for continuity and all looks good. Any thoughts????

Bought a spring and o ring kit from him. Got it two days later. Would definitely buy from again.

Air leaks can lean out your fuel mixture and burn up your engine.

Pressurize the coolant system and see if you can spot any leaks. While pressurized pull the plugs and look down in the cylinders and see if anything is accumulating.

I had this happen (not on a banshee) and the float needle was stuck and pouring fuel into the crank case. A new needle and seat then BOOM problem solved.
