  1. Thats a pretty nice banshee for a very reasonable price. Lol. Your yellow plastics are a better color than mine. I like them.
  2. Sounds lean at first idle. Lean makes it rev high, so different jetting or maybe an air leak. Even if you just replaced gaskets, do a leakdown test. Could save you a meltdown.
  3. Lol whitbread. Yep its hard to control a twist throttle on grass. Its nice on dirt and gravel. But anything where there you get a lot of traction its touchy as hell. i went from my 4 stroke predator with jet kit, exhaust, and intake to my banshee with a lot more done to it with a twist throttle and it was a hell of a learning expirience. Love my shee, but i could live without the twist.
  4. I got my banshee with a twist throttle, and its definitely a handful. Especially on grass or hard pack when you get a lot of traction. Really wish i had a thumb throttle sometimes. Or that dual gasser throttle.
  5. If you get extra cash i agree with swapping out the head, i just replaced all the o-rings in my noss performance head for $23 o-ring kit right from noss and that was price shipped right to my door. And it was so easy a caveman could do it. But if you have no problems with your current trinity head run it til it breaks or causes issues.
  6. Yeah. It would be sweet to run them on the street. But stopping at every gas station to fill up would suck.
  7. If the stator says ricky on it you should already know it is junk. Just wait for it to leave you stranded in the trails. Oem is the way to go. If your stator isnt bad now it will go bad, ricky stators are not known for being good. In fact they are known for quite the opposite.
  8. And if you feel its necessary to start 2 threads at least spell idle correctly the second time.
  9. Every bike is different. Mines running at 175 psi and safely runs pump gas 93 octane. If you arent sure then run the 22s to be safe. Should still be a noticeable difference over the 24s i would think.
  10. so whats the deal with boysen reeds? i have heard good and bad things about them. Im new when it comes to reeds, whats the difference between boysen and v force? sorry if its a dumb question.
  11. You cant test compression by how easy your bike is to kick over. Mine is at 175 and i can still push it by hand.
  12. No water. I took my dads camera down the spark plug hole into the cylinder. Its 175psi both cylinders. And i got the full set of o-rings cause then i know they are all good.
  13. thats what i have heard. But im always a little nervous doing something for the first time. Just dont want to screw anything up.
  14. Is it all pretty straight forward where they all go? was supposed to be a question. Oops
  15. So i got my.o-rings today. Putting them in this weekend. Is it all pretty straight forward when you take the head off where they all go. Wasnt expecting 18 o-rings. Lol
  16. Works well up here in mn when im running through the mines and hill climbing. Red rock dust is about the worst stuff ever and the filter holds up well. I plan on going to k&n pod style eventually though.
  17. I think my bike has an uni, but im unsure of specific brand. But it has a big hose clamp and a plastic frame that the foams holds to very well to. It is big and ugly but its inside the air box so i never see it. Works well on my 4 mil, however im running stock carbs. So i dont really know with the 34s. If its a stock size intake i would think it would work fine.
  18. I agree that its a valid question. Heat can warp things and if your unsure its best to ask. People like jbird apparently have nothing better to do than troll the forums and be assholes because the have sand in their vaginas. People on here can give you a hard time, but for every asshole there is someone willing to help you out. Lots of knowledge and expirience here. No one has steered me wrong yet. You guys are a great wealth of knowledge, especially for first time banshee owners wh want to do things properly and be able to enjoy their machine for a long time.
  19. is uni the kind of filter with the plastic skeleton inside and the foam outside right? why wouldnt it hold on gravel riding?
  20. Lol. My bad. But i hope so anyways. So far so good. Only problem so far was operator error.
  21. it was built proffesionally, but i dont know who it was. But i called jeff at fast and he said as long as it was running fine on 93 then no worries. But the plan is to talk to the local airport and see if i cant get some higher octane to mix in to be safe.
  22. Im running 93 octane on my 4mil. Its at 175psi and runs perfect. Id like to go a bit higher octane but.there isnt many options here. Its always been run on 93 with no problems. But every bike is different.
  23. Thats why i i like the twist, its really easy on the hand and wrist. But i feel thereis better control with a thumb throttle. I just dont know if they work well. It seems a little weird to have both types of throttle in one
  24. Has anyone used or have any reviews of something like the moose double gasser throttle? they look nice but do they work well? i have a twist throttle and like it but i can see where having a thumb throttle would be nice too.
  25. Yeah. Stock tube is best. And double check to nake sure boost bottle didnt break or crack anything, just to be on the safe side.
