  1. it felt like both were firing to me. Lots of power, no weird noises. But im compression testing and scoping cylinder tomorrow. Mostly looking for other potential causes for what it could.be whill im checking. Im leaning towards it not a whole in my piston. Talked to a couple builders and they seem to think might not be.
  2. if i had burned a hole in the piston wouldnt i have noticed it driving or idling?
  3. And ill run a camera dowm in the cylinder too.
  4. Sweet……… ill check it out. Thanks. Ill compression test it on saturday.
  5. So i rode the banshee a bit today and when i parked it the right side pipe let out a little smoke for 10-15 seconds. Now it wont start. Would a fouled plug and flooded cylinder cause these things? Or is it 2 seperate problems you think? When i try to start it it acts flooded
  6. The numbers are all the way across piston. No more room for other numbers. Ill look into it more and measure my stroke as well.
  7. I know. The numbers on top just look like they were put there by the builder. Just didnt know if it could.be a reference. It was supposedly professionally built. But i wouldnt know since.i didnt have it done. I trust who i purchased it from, but without a build.sheet its.hard to know.what you really have. Ill try and figure out stroke when i have a chance.
  8. Ill give it a shot when i can. Any chances the 3m is for a 3mm stroker possibly? i have heard vitos makes one. I looked up the number on the piston in google and got nothing.
  9. that would be nice. But im assuming no way to check crank without tearing into it? i have ridden stockers and.its.considerably faster than a stock shee. And anyway to tell what brand pistons?
  10. So i was told my banshee was a 397, but i took a camera in and looked at the pistons and the writing on pistons were 3m065. Which im assuming it means its bored to fit a 65mm piston? i dont know what the 3m means though.Thoughts? And bored to a 65mm would make it a 358 correct?
  11. Havent you heard though? They cant put anything on the internet that isnt true………… lmao
  12. So……… is this a real question then? lmao. Might want to get a manual for it……… lol
  13. If you dont want to break your motor then yes you need aftermarket pistons. I believe its like a wiseco 795 piston you need.
  14. yeah its terriible stuff. Fun though.
  15. Like topic says any good ways to clean red.rock and ore dust? i ride a lot of.mine hills.and trails and that stuff is terrible. Wondering if there is any tricks to clean it better.
  16. Great minds think alike. Lol. This will be my first riding season with the shee. Moving up in the world from a 4 stroke. Lol.
  17. Good to know. It pulls damn hard mid range. And sound awesome. i dont do much in dunes being in minnesota but do a lot of hill climbs. So it should work awesome.

  19. i do love the sound. What do you mean chopped silencers? sorry im not super great with exhaust stuff.
  20. My banshee came with pro circuit platinum pipes and pro circuit factory sound silencers. What ranges are these good for? and are they a decent pipe? i have read a lot of mixed reviews.
  21. Its a nissin rear caliper.
  22. The pads are about half. And i bled them a few times just to make sure. No air in the lines. But the right caliper in the rear would be good, since my right one is good. Maybe ill price out some rebuild kits and try that. That may very well make a night and day difference because i have no clue if they have ever been rebuilt. And i cant get pics to load up. Files too big. I have tried photobucket and a couple others. Cant get them to work right.
  23. Mine has the swiss cheeae things. But i agree. Stuff gets caught in them. I think there is an 01 and an 04-05 yfz around. Hopefully i can get a good deal. Cause my brakes suck. No.stopping power barely. Rear ones work too then? the after market rear caliper on my has terrible stopping power too.
  24. k. I was looking online and wasnt finding much for banshee calipers. But there is some yfz being parted aout around here. So the calipers just bolt right up or do you need anything extra?
  25. I hope to have my banshee.that nice one day.
