Yes that's exactly tha same that hapend to mine.. I'm runnin 24cc domes 130lbs comp pump gas with normal timing.. It is a cool head and I orderd rum from noss. I'm thinking it might have been either when I was taking a plug out(it was in pretty tight) or when I was filling the rad up it may have still been warm .. Or possibly where it is a 24cc dome there, may have had to cut it to thin..

U don't think with 21cc domes runing the trail Il heat up? I had 130lbs comp with the 24cc domes..

Or possibly even 21cc?

I have a banshee with FMF fattys, 4mm stroker,ported polished cylinders, 66mm pistons, ultra flow water pump, oversized rad, keihin PWK 28mm race carbs, cool head,with a tto temperature gauge ... altitude 0-1000ft and am currently runing a 24cc dome because I wanted higher reliability more than power and was wondering if anyone thinks I would have trouble running 22cc domes on pump gas in the trails?

Just found a hairline crack in one of my domes..

Just did a presure test ov the system with the head off, by plugging head inlet and outlet hose and the on that goes into the top of the head, pumped it to 13lbs , then to 40 by plugging the rad overflow . No leaks at all, problem Has to be in top end.. But I couldn't c a head seal to fail that bad..

My banshee is getting pressure in my rad from my cylinders, enough it shot out 3ft with one kick, but I don't think it's from the top orings.toulk my cylinders off and they look %100. Checked compression and ones only 15lbs below normal.. Is it possible my waterpump wore threw my casing and Is getting it from the bottom end..? There is no water in my bottom end oil

I just did a hydro test on just the cylinders and it is not leaking.. Could I get pressure in my system threw my water pump gear without getting water in my bottom end oil? If so that's might be where my problem is..

If u read the problem isn't overheating the problem is From overheating .I overheated because I had low fluid. I have no overflow bottle.. Also my entire top end is off and apart.. I don't know how I could check anything better unless bringing it to a machine shop to verify nothing is warped..

Heat was measured coming out of head(front hose coming from head) it actually got hotter than that once or twice.. But cylinders and pistons look A1.. I put a straight edge on the cyl, head, and domes and all look good by eye..

I took off the cover and the impeller looks fine, I didn't take it out tho, it's the coolant shooting out ov the rad 3 ft is the problem. I don't have the new orings yet but was wondering if the orings could have got so hot that they could have melted so they wouldn't seal good? Can u get pressure from your head in your rad from your impeller???

My banshee has a chariot cool head, I was driving this weekend and it started heating up to around 250F it usually runs at 150, when I got back I checked the rad and it was half empty.. When I filled it up and gave it a kick water shot out ov the rad about 3feet . Checked compression one was 15 below normal.. When I you'll it apart there was no damage or cracks in the cylinders or head .. I fig it was my orings but they looked fine.. No peices missing..and nothing looks warped??
