I am looking for a set of stock cylinders with either no port work or just a simple clean up job done to them. I am looking for an affordable set, I dont care if they need to be bored, cheapest set possible without having to re sleeve them is what i am looking for. I plan on taking this set of cylinders in to port with one of our in house templates and run it on a friends stock stroke stock cylinder banshee to get some dyno numbers established for our port work. Any help would be great! Pm me with what you have. Thanks.

Do you want 10 inch diameter or width? I'm a douglas dealer. Blue label wheels are very lightweight and look awesome. Pm me if you are interested -
If you havnt made a decision wheelman offers a nice setup, and so do we from fireball racing. Their arms are custom made to order, I just need to know how far forward u want to go (+3 max) and how wide u want to go so we can determine tie rods and shock setup as well. Hard to go wrong with any of the names already sugguested but if I can help you out shoot me a pm and we will discuss it.

Young Guns Racing replied to Young Guns Racing's topic in Sponsor Spotlight
I cant find anything on google about "young gunnaz racing" in va. There are a few facebook crews but we registered the trade name and whatnot here in VA so, I'm not out to step on toes with the name, its just what we came out with and I hope when YGR gets mentioned that we are the first that will come to mind -
If we don't have a race to attend we might come down and rip it up with yall

Young Guns Racing - Who we are and what we do
Young Guns Racing replied to Young Guns Racing's topic in Sponsor Spotlight
Thanks to all who've stopped in. Yes we have stickers. I am the "amish" one lol and I stopped by the bvc post to check it out, coincidence this time lol just used a bigger font to make reading easier on the eyes. Anyhow we try to price things fairly and competetively, everyone on this forum gives in one way or another so we will try to give hq forum members more discounts along the way! I appreciate the support and welcome as a site sponser. Let me know if there's anything I can do for anyone. -
Hello, Some of you may know know me as "Johnnyboy1986" well a good long term friend and I have started our own business out here in central Virginia targeting atv performance! There are a number of service shops in our area but we are the only performance oriented shop I am aware of for at least 60 miles. My name is Jon and my business partners name is Waylon, we have been riding quads and bikes since we were young enough to start school and it has always been a hobby and passion of ours to not only repair them but to dig into the performance side of things and see what we could get out of them. We have both been into the repair industry for over 10 years and so experience has come with time. After years of side work and our own personal quads, we took the steps to obtain proper business licensing and thus Young Guns Racing was established. Starting things off we are keeping towards banshee and blaster performance tho we have the knowledge and ability to help you 4 stroke guys out too! We are here to help with whatever your needs may be. We are established dealers for many lines of products you can find on our website. Our inventory at the moment is limited, we just officially opened up shop in late November, if we don't have what you are looking for in stock - we will have it drop shipped to you ASAP. You can find a few of the things we have going on under the "projects" section of our website. http://younggunsracing.com/ We are constantly busy and working to improve our position in the atv market. We ride what we build, most of the products we offer come with personal experience from running the product! Locally we can offer you general service and repairs along with performance parts and builds. Not close by? Ship your engine to us! Most of our non-local transactions are handled through Paypal, its hassle free and you are covered by their "buyer protection" policies so there are no worries! We back up what we do and are confident in our abilities! We are running a few off season specials you can catch a glimpse of on our website, for the Banshee HQ Members, here's a few more that may help you out!. Fireball racing has been an excellent move for us in the performance market, their products are phenomenal and quality is not even a question with Roger and his team! If you have never ran their stuff, maybe it's time to take a good look at what they've got to offer! Banshee round house style swing arms fabricated to order in lengths from -2 to +16 powder coated your color of choice (pearls extra) complete with new bearings and a dual row billet carrier and caliper mount! HQ Members price - $600 shipped! (in the lower 48) Chrome finish available -- add $200 **MX Style / Hill shooting swing arms will be extra because of extra material. Fireball Racing's A-Arms are unreal, the craftsmanship and design possibilities allow you to choose your style and ride for a long time to come! Each set is made to order complete with tie rods for a bolt on and go setup! Powder coated your color of choice! (pearl colors extra) Duner A-Arms -- $540 shipped in the US! MX A-Arms -- $589 shipped in the US! SLW Drag A-Arms -- $450 shipped in the US! Long Travel A-Arms available -- call for pricing. Drag axles made from 7075 billet aluminum with your choice of billet hubs and drive sprocket hub. These axles are backed up by a LIFETIME guarantee! HQ Members price -- $525 shipped in the US! I know banshee guys are always looking for a good affordable pipe, well here's an offer that I hope will help out all the HQ guys who may be interested. CPI "Poor Mans" Small bore in-frame pipes. These pipes use the same head pipes as normal CPI in frames do, the pricing differences comes from the silencers and the finish. Instead of being made from aluminum these silencers are made of steel for a fraction of the cost! Secondly these pipes only come in a Bare Metal finish or powder coated black. Bare Metal / Raw CPI Poor Mans pipes -- $390 shipped in the US! Thanks for taking the time to read. If you have any questions or requests please feel free to message here or contact me at 540-903-461eight. Thanks again!

Tom miller Motorsports
Young Guns Racing replied to wayne_smith97's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
Anything 68mm + is considered "big bore" by aftermarket standards. A.cub built right is a huge power increase - here again theres muuuuuch different porting involved in stock and aftermarket cylinders. Anyhow. No I have not dealt with TMM but it sounds like you dodged a bullet. I opened my shop in november and being that "new" would have still been able to give u a much better answer than that. In ANY two stroke engine, when a rebuild has taken place or there is an "engine performance" problem it is very important to leak down that motor. It is IMPOSSIBLE to properly tune a two stroke engine with an air leak - fact. After a fresh rebuild its more of a peace of mind thing before you reinstall that engine. I will never send out an two stroke engine build without a leakdown test. Site sponsers here will treat you well. FAST is a great group to deal with. Good luck with your build man -
I can get you new rims. PM me

lol terrible, but the effort to do such a thing is cool.

want to make a solid header pipe - how?
Young Guns Racing replied to Young Guns Racing's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
Which is exactly what I dont want, this changes velocity and pressure waves inside the pipe which defeats the purpose. I have been talking to JD. Hopefully we can work out something. Id like to be able to acutally do this on a small production level. -

Young Guns Racing replied to Young Guns Racing's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
I have a friend with a mandrel tubing bender I could possibly try. I don't want any creases or folds in the pipe if I can help it. Would they bend a tapered pipe clean like what u think I am looking for? -
want to make a solid header pipe - how?
Young Guns Racing replied to Young Guns Racing's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
Would be difficult to find a bought mandrel the correct size. I'm just trying to think ahead for production if I actually sell these. I wouldn't want to take a 3-5 days to produce a set of pipes. If I could stamp the head pipes, I could probably do 2 - 4 sets in a day -

Young Guns Racing replied to Young Guns Racing's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
Will do, thanks! I'm hoping I can make this happen somehow. I'd love to able to produce these if hp numbers are decent -
want to make a solid header pipe - how?
Young Guns Racing replied to Young Guns Racing's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
Already thought about hydro forming. It never seems to leave that "perfect" shape and seems like for myself its just not worth the effort. I thought I would need some press dies, hopefully jd can help me out lol I will contact him. Meanwhile, let me know what other ideas you all might have -
It seems my oof pipes thread may be too long so anyhow I have started this to get a more direct response. Ive siccessfully made two oof drag pipes, with that being said instead of my header pipe being about 10 sections welded together I've thought about how to produce it with only two halves to make a solid smoother section. With that being said I have no idea how to incorporate the bends...any ideas guys? While we are at it I may have misunderstood an earlier post. Jds customs said they could laser cut me some stamps? I thought it would just be a brand name stamp but perhaps he meant "metal castings" or "press dies" ? If you see this jd please let me know lol I been thinkin about it all day. Thanks for reading and thanks to everyone for the support and advice

No one? -
If you are using stock intakes and never had a set of vforce reeds you will need to cut the "ears" / tabs off of them before they will fit. Other than that they will bolt right in. Windy is right, one suze up on ur pilot jet and go from there.
-
Jereme is right, my stock cyld 4 mil setup is only a 64.50mm bore and it hauls my 220lb ass just fine. Just punching an engine over for sheer displacement gains is not worth the life loss in ur cylinders. A nice set of pipes, good intake, reeds, cool head with custom domes and port work will probably put u close to wherever you want to be hp wise with a stock cyld engine

what would this port be classified as?
Young Guns Racing replied to sheerox's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
X2 Sounds like ur.local guy needs some reeducation. Any of these site sponsers can give you much better answers then he did. I don't think I'd let him touch my stuff again. Listen to the folks here, u will be happier in the end- 6 replies

Rite side smoking white and running bad.
Young Guns Racing replied to Piediddy's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
If you are going to pull the motor (what you should be doing seeing as it is sucking in trans oil) do yourself a favor and buy ALL NEW gaskets and SEALS. Then before reinstalling the engine into the frame - leakdown it for peace of mind and for the sake of your wallet incase you missed something. Good luck! -
rebuild lag on bottom end?
Young Guns Racing replied to 96white/red's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
Not sure if you already have them but vforce 4s pick up a decent little bottom end snap. Might try a set of those and as u mentioned go back to jetting.
