  2. Looking for a nice extended chrome swing arm for an 05 honda trx450. Like to be +6 or +8. Please pm me if you have anything
  3. Bump. Gotta offer pending. Just making sure no one elsehas any
  4. Just having a curiosity into building anything above a stock banshee should give a clue to what things of this nature go for...$600? How bad does it have to be for someone to actually fall for something like this lol all the red flags are there. Gotta hate scammers
  5. Late 80's I do believe. Needs cylinder bored and honed and new piston. Solid bottom end. Far as I know all parts are there. Even comes with radiators. Asking $300 obo. Will also trade for banshee parts. Let me know what you have. PM me with any requests. Thanks!
  6. Bump. Anyone?
  7. Like the ad says, I'm looking for a black tank cover. I don't need it in the best shape but no cracks please. The surface is no concern because I am.going to paint it. Please pm me and let me know
  8. Looking for some lug pattern (NO SPINDLE MOUNTS) drag skinnies. I know a few guys run em and spindle mounts are just not in the picture for me at this time. Let me know what you got! Shoot me a PM. Thanks!

  10. Thanks for the options guys. Thats one of the cheaper short shifters I've seen. I think I'm.going to mod a stock one and see where.it goes
  11. I feel like the way the stock shifter is on my bike with jds pegs is just too long. My yfz450r shifter is nowhere near the length of a shee shifter and it just feels better to ride all around. Anyhow I was wondering if I should just purchase a shorter shifter or just shorten the one I have?. I have a very nice miller mig and would be able to weld it back togther I'm sure. Any recommendations are welcome. Have any other riders here felt like the shifter is a bit too long?
  12. If i move to straight 110 or 112 octane race fuel wouldnt i be able to get a broad power band with a drag port? or are we still talking peaky power here? Im ok with the cost of race fuel...yeah it sucks but im not ready to switch to alky yet. That will be a road i am sure I will go down later on. If the power will be too "peaky" with a drag port and not really net me any gains, then I will just take the setup I have and throw on some race fuel custom cut domes and an override and be content.
  13. Thanks hazzard, I would have been greatful nonetheless. I ran one down. Went to race day and won both of my classes! And yes I did. She.was gapped at a tight .020 at the.time.I had tried EVERYTHING, glad I got her all solved and whatnot
  14. x4 they work well, they dont mount perfect by any means but will mount nicely with very little effort, just loosen ur old side mounts start ur bolts and then retighten them.
  15. I hear what you guys are saying. I appreciate all the input for fuel and riding recomendations! I am going to bite the bullet and run pure race fuel, its what I want for the new setup I've decided. I spoke to cam today and we have an idea for what I'm going to be looking for and as usual he was verrrrrry helpful. Even talked me into an over ride lol. Anyhow its been a fun setup and its time to amp it up a bit for next season! Thanks again to all. Maybe some other members in the middle of such a decision will read this and it will help out.
  16. Yes im dragging on hard packed dirt and clay tracks. the wedges do great in those! As far as the head, its a pro design cool head and I think the domes are 20 or 21cc, not sure because kevin had them custom cut. Current compression is right at 150-155 psi. I think Im just going to take a step in the direction of race fuel and a drag port from redline. I dont have any signs or issues of detonation at the time, but i do not want to risk it either so i think im going to back her off to +4 until i get my new setup. BTW im running stock banshee class. I dont know how it works elsewhere but stock banshee here requires "stock cylinders, no big bores, no nitrous, no tire studs, no engines over 400cc". So with that in mind I am trying to stay in those limitations. I have a 4mil cub in the works, I am just going to need a chassis to put it in once I am finished because that will be a whole nother banshee class. Lastly -- Back to one of my main questions, with a drag port on race fuel, will i still be able to take her out of the trailer to an open field so me and a few friends can cruise and drag race around for anywhere from 2 - 6 hours in one day? - Mind you this wouldnt happen too often. Or is the drag port going to significantly reduce the time between top end rebuilds and overall engine life?
  17. Alright I get that. Completely understandable. Not to sound too cheap but I just didn't like the cost of race fuel lol gotta pay to play so I am defenitly open to switching her to race fuel. That in mind along with the rest of my build (listed below) what do u think I may need to tweek/change to accomplish more overall power? And idk if it matters but I'm looking at cam @ redline to do my cylinders. His dyno numbers are amazing and he's a great guy to talk to. My setup is currently 4 mil stock cylinder dune/play ported for pump fuel. Billet intakes w/ internal cross overs Vforce 4's & 35mm pwks Shearer in frame sb/sf Timing +7 Stock fuel tank w/ dual pingel, klotz supertech 32:1 Trans has been pro moddes, mod shift star & shaft running FAST clutch. I'm running a +8 swingarm and 22" pro wedge tires Hope that helps! Thanks guys!
  18. Currently I am running stock cyld 4mil HRJ dune/play port - question is could i have it changed into a drag port? Secondly, can i still bring it out on the occassion to ride in some wide open fields and whatnot with friends? And I am still going to be running pump fuel.
  19. Bump!.still interested
  20. Damnit dude.....mine did the exact SAME THING 2 days ago. I will never run a lightened flywheel again. Ebay has lots of used OEM stators, you will pay dearly and have to pay close attention to find a seller who will "guarantee" the item is good. If you post a wanted add folks here are usually very helpful and will come through with flying colors.
  21. Got one.coming! Thanks guys! I'm open to sellers still I'm sure I wouldn't mind having a spare
  22. I have a drag race saturday. I need a flywheel by friday! I will pay the costs for express shipping. I'm located in central va. Zip code 22734. Please pm or text me if u can help me out! 540903461eight
  23. Stator is oem. I just checked the flywheel like u said to do. It didn't look quite right so may have been aftermarket or something like that...I swapped a buddys flywheel over and boom. She got good signal. So I hooked up my coil and started.first kick. Now I need a flywheel by saturday! Thanks for chiming in bud. I appreciate.the fast advice. I was very frustrated and being pressed for time I lost my cool and needed some help
