  1. Hello all, I am building a semi-stock appearing sleeper in my 03 shee and aside from a cool head w/ 22cc domes it is pretty much looking stock. I have a welded and trued crank for the bottom with stock stroke. Cylinders are already ported Stage 3 from sport works by ken o conner racing. Currently running two stock mikuni carbs properly jetted with K&N pods and toomey t-5s. The question I am finding in myself is would a nice set of 36 PWK's, new intakes and v-force reeds bring it to a whole nother level? Or aside from the extra airflow would the stock carbs pretty much be the same feel? I would be riding alot of open fields and sometimes hittin the local dirt drags.
  2. By trade I work in the lawn and garden industry. I've ported lots of chainsaws for folks and your namebrands like stihl and such use a nikisil plating on their higher end saws. It is tough to cut but I have found with the right RPM a nice carbide double cutter will work but it IS risky. A simple stone (220 grit or so, a roll would do the same but wear faster) will do the job without such a chipping risk. It is going to take lots of time. Just be careful and remember to properly chamfer your ports when you are done!
  3. I live in central virginia (culpeper county to be exact) and I would like to start some TT racing. Are there any tracks near by? I am new to the official setup even though i've done some backyard stuff all my life lol. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.
