  1. Hello guys well I have a quick question my bike got recently rebuilt and the bike starts with 1 kick, I don't have ramps I have to invest in them but I have noticed when I throw the banshee off the truck the bike won't kick start unless I push start it right after that it's back to starting with 1 kick, is there a reason that is happening? Am I hurting the engine? I am investing in ramps ASAP lol
  2. Well I do a little of both riding I go from dirt to street, I live in Miami so the temp is mostly hot lol and yes I do have an adjustable timing plate at +4 I new I was forgetting to list something in the mods lol, the guy that did the port told me I should run stock pilots with a 330 mains but i don't think he knows good when it comes to that part cause I'm pretty sure I gatta change pilots
  3. Hello guys I have an 01 shee and I just finished rebuilding my engine cause I cracked a piston in half hehe I went with bigger pistons so I obviously need to change jets and don't know what size to put My mods are the following -66mm pistons -4 mill upgrade -small port -vforce 3 reeds -CPI pipes -k&n filters -heavy duty clutch I have a set of Mikuni carbs 34mm flats and a set of stockers, should I run the 34mm or the stock ones? What jet size should I run on either 1 ? Please help it's the only thing I'm missing to get the bike running, been out for about 2 months now
  4. Yea thats what I did my builder is taking care of the pistons he's the one that suggested to go with 65.25 since I have a 65 before n since I have to shave my head and bore out my cylinders because everything got damaged with the bad piston
  5. Haha ur totally right , but it's always good to find out anyways haha
  6. Paid 220 today for both wiseco 65.25mm pistons, did i pay a fair price or did I get ripped of ?
  7. I actually just bought a pack from namura in eBay for $39 and it is an awsome pack it brought every single gasket from top end to the side where gears go, to the radiator hose i couldn't be anymore happier with the pack recommend it 100%
  8. Thank you all for the great help, any thoughts on the piston rods ?
  9. Thanks a lot I will be purchasing this one appreciate the help
  10. Thank you appreciate the help will start looking now
  11. So since my bike is currently taken apart thanks to a piston broken in half I'm thinking of doing a few upgrades Currents mods - 4 mill with small port - 65 mm wiseco pistons - CPI pipes - uni air filters - vforce reeds 3 - stock carbs I currently have the 158 piston rods i believe, should I get the 5mm piston rod upgrade? And would that improve performance Upgrades i wanna do since bike is taken apart -wiseco 65.25 pistons -40mm radiator -advanced timing plate - maybe 5mm piston rods -stock carbs 330 jet, do I need to change the pilot? Is it a yes or a no on the upgrades? And what's worth it and not worth? http://m.ebay.com/itm/110876212596?nav=SEARCH&sbk=1 http://m.ebay.com/itm/121156501861?nav=SEARCH&sbk=1 Link to radiator and timing plate
  12. Thank you Troy, I ended up paying a shop just to do it they charged me $150 but w.e at least it was done by a professional than me that could have probably broken or lost
  13. Also check your spark plugs the same thing happened to my bike 1s but on the left side, it would act like it wanted to take off and wanted to work but it would just spit out of the left side, after going over the entire bike i found out it was just a bad spark plug lol the bike was perfect after getting 2 new ones
  14. So I found out today that my bike is running 65mm wiseco pistons and it has a 4 mill crank with shaved dome heads never even new the bike had all of that done to it, I thought my bike was stock so I had order stock carbs with a 270 jet thats what the mechanic said made me brake a piston i wasnt feeding it enough has with those mods, so I'm thinking of moving on to 65.25 piston do you guys recommend wiseco pistons or Namura pistons? Or any other brand that would b better than both
