300' track racing is far different then dune or hill racing. For one, fast bikes are crazy light and riders are crazy light.. "Curves" basically mean jack shit if you ask me for track racing. As long as the motor revs and has good over rev and peek numbers are there, thats what wins races. That said im not saying there arent better pipes out there, but like jmadd said, all the fastest bikes(record holders) run shearers that ive seen at newtown.

Its sad, but Ive seen big motors run those times. Thats a very good respectable time for a small motor/heavy rider combo first outing.

Put a 27.5 pilot in. If that dont help, play with needles. When i ran stock carbs i could never get my shit to run nice and clean in the trails until i switched to toomey needles. Im a big fan of them for stock carbs. They are much longer then a stock needles and also the taper is much longer. A lot more tunable vs stock

Usually a lean condition will translate to a deep hollow drown sound if that makes sense. Rich usually is a spit n sputter effect.
