how many passes u make and how often u want to change sprockets? aluminum is the lightest option but doesnt hold up as long. steel weighs a metric ton and sucks balls all the way around really. chromo isnt much heavier than aluminum but shits expensive. price wise it might b a wash for 2 alunimum or 1 chromo but youll change alinum more often

i think alot of people only use pods for convenience. its alot easier getting the carbs off if theres no airbox to mess with. and maybe the bike looks like a race machine with no airbox? remember back in the day u take the hood off your camaro and its a race car haha keep the airbox if you dont want mud and shit on your filters

the cyl dowel holes could be .001 to small. i just roll up some 180grit sand paper like a sleeping bag and spin it in the hole

i dont hear of many people using athena cyl. so i dont know if theyre any good. is there anybody close to your country to port stock cyl ? you could send your cyl to usa but i dont know how much shipping cost. really im not sure if you can bore stock cyl to 68mm without new sleeve. maybe 66 is max? you can email a site sponsor and see what the price is
