  1. Windy must be busy since he hasn't commented back yet haha
  2. No it's not... Performance cost money. I'm getting hand coned pipes built to spec and they are $1600 raw. Twice the price of snipers. Like the others said with the mind set you have might as well get some DG pipes for 100 bucks. Just remember your missing out on a lot of power
  3. John has been trying to give you good info from the start bud. With the money you have spent you could of a had a good cub right now along with a much better trip with less wasted time trying to fix problems. If it takes longer then you would like to save up the money for a good quality build you need to change your perspective and realize that it will be all so worth it in the end. Yes now you realize it I hope... Ever hear the the saying " you can go broke trying to save money?" Seems in your case this is true especially if your not sure what exactly your doing. Either way start saving $ for your build or there is good motors for sale on here that have been done correctly by good builders
  4. FFS... What would be the point of even running the box if he did that? Might as well use pods which was suggested in the first place. Hope that's sarcasm...
  5. IMO I would just get a-arm frame and be done with it
  6. Are you sure you don't have any air leaks? Have you done a leakdown test? Those are huge mains for that motor IMO even if it does have a "real Aggressive" porting.
  7. If you don't need sparkys I would just run the shearer silencers they look similar
  8. Very nice Troy. I love me some chrome motor. Did the same to mine when it was built
  9. You don't need the lid. You said you have to cross something.... If your not taking you banshee swimming aka that deep of water then you can still go in but just go slow with pods through the water. If you must run a airbox take the lid off so it can breath somewhat more
  10. If your not riding in deep ass water or really muddy stuff and not going through huge puddles of water at 50mph then i would go with pods. Cleans it up a lot & your motor will be able to breath. Don't forget to rejet if you switch over
  11. Welcome and enjoy the forum. Your off to a good start
  12. Only issue you might with the xfr is heal kicking it. The xrw r1 seems to be very nice and no kicking issues with them so a member said. Check them out too
  13. True. I don't see why he couldn't extend it a little. I'm sure if you call and ask he can do that no prob. Either way I'm happy with mine. Just wish I had it earlier Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Spark plug caps could be bad if it's making a "rev limiter" noise like on a streetbike in a high rpm
  15. Remember the end result is all about how much you rub it
  16. So which site sponsor on here is gonna start the new fender trend??
  17. How is the kicker side? Can you kick it with the middle of your foot without clearance issues?
  18. Gotta make sure it had no issues with old carb setup before throwing new ones on. For all you know the carbs might be fine and it could be a dome issue Ect
  19. Did the bike run fine without these issues before you got the carbs?
  20. It's a shame fullbore and laker are no longer available. We need a new company to come out with some nice fitting and good looking plastics in all varieties of colors of choice
  21. What I'm trying to say is I wouldn't fuck with the nitrous personally. I'll spend the extra $ ( and I have) and do one of the motors. This isn't a cheap sport. But if you wanna do a nitrous build by all means knock yourself out bud
