Thanks, ill give them a shout. By the ways Ive seen pictures of this bike before, and its one of the best looking ones to me. Ive shown some of my friends and told them that my goal with the project im working on is to have it look this sharp. Do you ever ride it lol it looks so clean. Are those stock plastics?
-
Hey man where did you get that graphics kit from.. its really sweet looking.
-
No they aren't too big of dicks.. BUT if I can't be competitive, ill never hear the end of "p**ssy 2 stroke" and other comments about my slow bike.. Now dont get me wrong, like I said, I have never even ridden a shee before so I have no idea what to expect.. But if I can't keep up, they won't let me forget it. Just wondering what im in store for.

What about just lining up and straight up drag racing? Like I said this is my first experience with racing bikes, so just by looking at the situaton, 700cc and 800cc (twice my 350) should blow me away.. right?... I hope not..

Soo my friends that ill be riding with have these bikes: 700xx, and a Renegade. I have no idea how fast a banshee is, or a renegade, but i rode the 700xx and its no joke as far as i know. Was wondering if these guys are gonna run off and leave me racing and on the trails. Can I keep up with them? If I cant, what would help me try lol? O yea, my bike is not quite together, but it will be set up like this 28.5 mm carbs w/ tors removed vforce reeds bored .5 mm over ohlin suspension front and rear chrome t5s k&n filters with no airbox

The bike hasnt run in about 3 years, so I was just assuming the chain is no good, or needs to be restored/reconditioned. Can you restore/recondition a chain? If not, what would be the budget friendly way to go to replace it. I plan on doing some more work to it over the winter when I cant ride, but I want to get it going this month, just so I can check it out ( this is my first bike). Ive been looking at stuff on ebay, and I know more than likely its all crap, but id like to hear from yall if any of it would work, and what direction you all would recommend about the chain. By browsing the forums all ive really gathered is that it should be at least 7000lbs tensile strength.. Thanks folks. The final pieces are arriving soon so I can begin to put my first banshee together. Im gonna list my mods, and I was wondering if yall could comment on top speed and what kinda power ill be making, and maybe a comparison to power vs. stock. I've never ridden a banshee before, so I dunno what im in store for. Thanks folks. .5mm bored with wiseco pistons Vf2 reeds 27.5mm carbs w/ k&n, tors and airbox removed T5 exhaust Ohlins front and rear shocks Lomestar a-arms Pretty sure thats it...for now ... what do yall think

Looking for a rolling chassis. My friend and I are going to build a pair together. Ive got one, and most of a motor, just missing a second chassis.
-
Thinking that I want a Trail Tech Vapor or Vector.. Anyone wanna get rid of one for a decent price?
-
What are the benefits of having them removed?
-
I bought two stock carbs, bored out to 27.5mm, and with the TORS deleted. #1- What is the TORS delete. #2- Does this change how the carbs are installed and/or maintained.

Ok guys, upon further inspection of the box of parts that used to be the motor on the bike I found these. I am assuming these are Vforce reeds..V3 or something? How do I tell if these are any good, or need to be replaced? Do they wear out?

Do you have the silencers for them? -
Have I ridden a banshee before: No Have I ridden a 2- stroke before: No Why did I get a new motor: Bought the bike as a project and the motor is in pieces so I wanted to get one cheap and all the way together to so I could learn about the old one but still have something to play with What do I want to do with the bike: The air strip is just to play and test, the majority of my ridding will be done on trails and back roads. I just want a FUN bike to ride.. I know that gives little on where I want the power.. Ummm I guess mid range is where Id want it... I dont need all the 120 mph top speed lol, but I dont want it all to go away either.. Cant I have it both ways lol Price Range: Well I set back 1500 for starters, bought and engine and a few other things the bike was needing and now I have about 1000 bucks left.. for now.. I want the best bang for my buck in the beginning.. after this summer and when it gets cold Ill save up some more money and maybe do some stuff that requires tearing down the motor and what not So from what Im reading I should go with: Pipes, Jets, and filters to begin with.. basic.. good power.. and all work well together.. Where do reeds come into the picture? and what about a Cool head? annnnd that timing advance I read so much about on here.... Thanks for all your help on here guys.. I know I ask alot of questions but Im soaking this knowledge up like a sponge!

How do I know if they need to be rebuilt. And is that MattSESC someone on these forums or is that the name of a site sponsored business orr what? Sorry if thats a stupid question.. Im new to all this but I learn fast, and live by the " if you never ask youll never know" theory. -
Im in Mississiippi.. No sand or snow or anything.. It will pretty much just be something to have some fun on. As far as where I want the power, I really have no idea. I want a "fast" bike that is torqy and fun to ride. I have an air strip Ill be able to run wide open on, but ill also be doing some trail riding. I know that doesnt help much on exactly what I want. It definately wont be a drag bike by any means. I also want it to be reliable. I know im kinda ramblin here..... Is there a form/questionaire I can fill out for this lol.

Hey guys. Still a newbie here, but Im gaining knowledge everyday. This is a freaking great site, I usually surf around the forums for at least an hour a day. Anyway, here's my question: Im waiting on my stock motor to arrive, then ill spend what money I need to to get the bike in good running shape before I start modding. Like I said im completely new to the world of 2-strokes and Banshees. Is there a website or a forum post that ive missed that kinda goes over what kinda mods to what? I know thats a pretty tough and large amount of info, but I dont even know where to start. I dont know what order to proceed in buying my parts. I dont know what pipes are better for low end or top end. I dunno if you have to kinda pair parts up I.E.: pipes, air filters, and jets... but what if I just want some after market reeds, do I need other stuff to make them run right?? Im looking for research and reading material I guess.. can anyone help me out??? THANKS!

I was wondering the same thing myself.. I didnt see anything stamped on it.
