  1. Did you move to the Portland area Dave or still in Idaho?
  2. I am game to play anytime.
  3. The Myrtlewood factory is a good place to stay if you have a Rv or toy hauler. Sprinnreel has a good campground to.
  4. I would just check for the obvious like you have been. Reeds, gaskets, plugs and wires, stator and pick up gap. A leak down test wouldn't hurt either. As for jetting. I have a 421 dyno at 96 hp by redline racing and I have 35PWK carbs. 152 main jet. Cel needle in the middle clip position. 45 pilot and 1.5 on the air screw. 19 cc domes +7 timing vf3 porting by HJR. I ride at sea level on the oregon coast. That's what works for my setup up and may help you dial yours in or fix a problem.
  5. Redline racing. Cam is the owner and builder. He is located in Sweet home, OR. Cam is a good guy to deal with.
  6. I may be wrong or heard wrong. That you should have domes cut buy the builder that ported your cylinders. I'd this true?
  7. A friend of mine just had this same thing happened to his clutch rod and ball. He didn't want to split the cases so he drilled a small hole on the left side of the case so he could get a small punch in there and drive/free the welded rod and ball. He put new parts in and used epoxy to seal up the hole he drilled. He did this back at camp and was back riding the next day. It beats splitting the cases.
  8. Here is a front shot of mine
  9. I've never been sound checked at Windy bay, spinreel, houser or horse fall. It could happen. I heard a few of the problem rangers got switched out for diffent ranger cops and they are much better. Windy bay is fun but in my opinion I like spinreel and houser the best. More areas to ride and better tree shots.
  10. I have a 4mill cub with a agressive port by HJR, 19cc domes by Redline. I am running VF3 and 35pwk. My current jetting at Sea level is 152 on the main, Cel needle on the 4th and a 45 pilot. I had it tuned on the dyno at redline and it runs hard.
  11. My banshee takes my built crf 450 all day on the dunes in a drag race but the 450 can play all day on a tank of fuel. The banshee cannot.
  12. Is anyone from Oregon playing at the dunes today?
  13. I have them set up for my weight and a arms. all the nobs are dialed.
  14. I got my new Elka dune editions on today. Im pretty stoked to try them out this weekend. Do you guys that own these have any pointers? Thanks.
  15. I just bought theses for $549. I cant believe no one else place a bid.

  17. anyone want to go hill climbing?
  18. I like the lower gear ratio just because of the tree shots that we have in Oregon. They are steep and need all the wheel spin you can have without running out of gear. I have a few different ratios I will be trying out once I get back from working out of town. That chart helps a lot. I just wanted to see what everyone had to say.
  19. Im just wondering the best all around gearing for a 4 mill cub. I usually ride the dunes with the occasional drag. MY current set up is. 4mill cub with a very aggressive port work and 35 pwk. I am running 13 tooth front sprocket with 41 rear and I have 22.11.8 10 paddle extreams. Thanks guys.
  20. Cam at Redline tweaked my PD domes on my ported cub by HJR and I have had no problems.
  21. Lighting off lighted 5 gallon propane cans with tanrite. Its possible there.
  22. I get some new VF3's in the mail tomorrow. It will be a few weeks before I get to try it out. I will let you know of the outcome. I am kind of having a hard time believing as well. We will see tho.
  23. I used to ride out there all the time when I lived in bend. It is a pretty cool place to ride. The only time we would ride would be around late July through fall. Less wind to deal with. It is a dust bowl but thats the high desert for ya.
  24. I have a aggressive 4 mill cub with 35 pwks and I had the bike dyno tuned at redline racing. I have a 48 pilot, cel needle on the 4th clip and 152 mains. I ride at sea level on the Oregon Coast.
