  1. I use c12 on a ported 421 and +7 timming and 19cc domes at sea level

  3. It's what Kevin said. And I men't .015 base gasket. Sorry for the confusion. I probably leave the base gasket alone and get some different domes by Kevin.

I have a 421 cub that cam put together and he dynoed it at 94 hp and 50t. 19cc domes Vf3 reeds +7 and Sunoco 110 35 pwk 150,45 cel in the middle clip Ported cub cylinders and case by Kevin at HJR. I forget the squish but I'm think the base gasket is .20? Not sure tho. I am going to have some different domes cut and and bring my squish down to .15 and may add some 39pwks. It's been a reall fun bike to ride in the dunes or tree shots.

  8. Sorry for the late reply. I wanted to but ended up weld splicing pile all weekend on one of my projects
  9. I ride the Oregon dunes when work and the old lady don't interfere with my fun. I usually ride Windy bay and down south.
  10. Wincheaster and horsefall will be packed that weekend. i have Radiators, brake parts, gas tank, tranny parts and a enough bolts and washers to build another bike. I think I have a black powder coated axle to.

  13. Looks a tad rich. Some people like to run a little bit richer to be on the safe. I like to be right on so I can get the most out of my motor. Just my opinion tho.
  14. My current set up on my ported 421. Aggressive port by HJR. 35 pwks, 152 main, 45 pilot, cel needle on 4th clip from the top. I have 19 cc domes, VF3 reeds and +7 timing. I started out with a 160 main and a 52 pilot and it did not run clean. It was clearly running rich and running hot. Make sure your carbs are synced and opening all the way. Check your intake boots and make sure there not cracked or have loose clamps. Check all the little stuff. I had my dyno tuned at Redline racing and It has ran great.
  15. Try going down on your pilot. I have a ported 4mil 421 cub with 35pwk.152 on the main jet, cel on 4th clip from the top and a 45 pilot jet. I have 19 cc domes,VF3 reeds +7, CPI inframes. I ride at sea level. How do your plugs look?

  18. Good point. I have the cascade billet manifolds. Maybe I'll ask them .
  19. I am swapping out my 35pwks for some 39's and I was wondering on the manifolds. Would I have to get new manifolds with the rubbers to use the 39's or can I just change the rubber intake boots? Thanks
  20. I run +7 on my ported cub. I have 19cc domes. But use 110 or c12. I dune it more then I drag and have not had any problems.
