  1. I'm running a 35 pwk, but i don't have a serval. I would guess that a 35 or a 38 would do fine. You will probably hear a lot of pele tell you to skip the 2 into 1 and go with 2 carbs. What manifold are you gonna run?
  2. I don't think it's worth 2200. Ask him if the cylinders were bored prior to the pistons being installed. Who did the engine work? Is it ported? I bet you could find one for 2200 that has way more aftermarket work done to it. I might offer the guy 1500-1900 for it. Just my .02 cents.
  3. You should search for companies that make the products you are looking for, so you can quit supporting them. Im all for US made products, but not if they are supporting the clousure of the dunes (which is the only place my banshee goes). It doesnt make sense to me that some of these companies support the closure, when i bet a lot of their business are from the type of people that ride in the dunes....What im trying to say is, alot of us riders drink beer, so why would ninkasi be a part of this when they could potentially lose a lot of business. The same goes for Patagonia. Just a bunch of bullshit.
  4. Seriously man, it's been pouring! I've been wearing my water wings all day. It's supposed to keep pouring for the next week and then dip down below freezing after that. Gonna be a disaster if all this water is here when it freezes.
  5. Here is a list of companies that are supporting the shutting down of the Oregon dunes...... http://67.199.65.66/cascade_innovations/newlook/store/store_view.cfm?store_area_id=3&store_dept_id=920
  6. Pull the clutch in, rev it, and dump it. Lol, I see what you are saying though. I was thinking of it more from a drag racing perspective.
  7. I can see what you're saying. Sitting on a street bike, you are leaning forward and your legs are in a different position where gp style shifting would be easier to use. Makes sense.
  8. I have a set of toomey t-5 silencers and a set of fat boy silencers. Not sure if either of them will fit those pipes though.
  9. I for one, would like to punch him in the face for you.....with my car. I just don't understand how people can be sooooo dishonest. It's quite infuriating. Glad you got you dough back.
  10. I wish I had the tools, and machines to do that. I just thought maybe there was a chance that it had already been done. I have an idea how it could work, but that's about it. Long term project......
  11. Jmo= just my opinion, not my name. Lol
  12. If you want to dune it at all I wouldn't go any bigger than a +6 for ride ability and manouverability. Jmo
  13. So on on most street bikes you can flip the shift linkage to where you shift down to go up gears and flip up to shift down gears. Is there a way to do that to the banshee? I would think it would be easier to click gears that way but the shift lever is connected directly to the shaft vs the street bikes that have linkage. I may not be using all the correct terminology, but I think you know what I mean. Just curious.
  14. Hey jd, I got my shroud today. Again, product looks great! Ill post pics once I get my bike back together.
  15. +6, 22x11x8 10 or 12 paddles.
  16. What's really going on is, that guy is a douche and was trying to scam. I hate dishonest people. Karma is a bitch.
  17. Are your 10 paddles super lites by chance? Im asking because it looks like our mods list is about the same and i just got 22x11x8 10 paddles super lites and im wondering if i will run into the same problem....How much do you weigh? Sounds like i will be fighting the front end until i get a +6 and may not be doing any high speed pulls if those paddles hold it back.....I have a set of 22x11x8 8 paddles for sale if anyone is interested....
  18. Yes those are good mods, but you could spend that money on porting and get more power. Your choice on which route you want to take. Give a site sponsor a call and they can get you all set up.
  19. Porting, timing mod, after market head, the list goes on. Depends on what you want from the bike.
  20. What do you mean, "till I hit 5th and I can deff tell I had too much paddle?
  21. You have GOT to be shitting me! Biggest joke on the sand.
  22. When I was running my mids, using the factory hoses, I never had problems when the hoses would touch the pipes. No burns or anything. I was always worried because they were touching the ppipes, but I never had any issues. You could try putting a bigger diameter radiator hose, zip tied around the actual hose for added protection. Or the factory spring that goes around the hose works fine as long as you don't mid the pipes possibly getting a little marred up where the spring touches the pipes.....hope this helps and makes sense.
  23. Jd, just got my black carbon fiber stator cover today. Sent you the payment for the black carbon fiber shroud. They are gonna look sooo siiiiick when i put them on. Ill post pics once i get the bike all finished. Super stoked. Stator cover looks great.
  24. Its very common (at least with my experience) that a lot of people have the ignition key eliminated anyways. You are fine.
  25. http://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/rvs/2780166931.html This thing rips.......but it doesn't run.
