  3. I wouldnt bump the compression up too much if you are running a stock unwelded crank.
  4. It lean. You need to put in bigger jets. White plugs are bad. when its at an idle in neutral, if you blip the throttle does the motor drop right back down to an idle or does it stay revved up?
  5. I wasn't planning on running straight cut gears. Why stay away from the tz?
  6. Grab a set of Paul turner mids. Those pipes by far have the most bottom end than other pipes.

  8. I already have the pancake bearing, adjustable timing plate, vforce, and good exhaust. good looking out though zilla. I was tossing around clutch ideas in my head. not sure if i wanted to do the stiffer springs to keep the stock cover and stock look going, or go ahead and do the lockup. I have a ninja that knows direct drive pretty well and may be able to get me a good deal on a lock up setup. I may go that route.

  12. Run another toggle switch for your light. make sure the toggle has three positions hi beam, low beam, and off.
  13. I have it narrowed down to cam at redline or kevin at herr jugs. Im leaning towards redline because its only a couple hours away, but I like having different setups than everyone else around my area, so i might have kevin do it to have something different. When i get ready to shell out the dough, ill give them both a call. Ill be assembling the motor myself, just need all the parts, porting, and machining done.

I have a list put together and was hoping you guys could give me ideas, info, or ideas for added parts i may have forgotten. +4 long rod crank Tz and Maxload bearings Porting on virgin stock cyls. Port match cases Custom cut domes extra pwk 35 (currently running 2-1 setup) New tranny modded by cam Piston kit Piston windowed All necessary gaskets. Stiffer Springs? I already have the modded star and shift shaft, billet basket, new clutch, billet impellar.

  18. Its all in the porting, gearing. A 4 mill doesnt automatically mean that its going to spin. Do some reading.
  19. Check your crank. Is your crank welded? Could have lost the needle bearings from the connecting rod.
  20. You should get a set of pipes for that 87.....I just happen to have a set i will sell for a good price. What elevation was the bike at? Why are you so concerned about jetting. What is going wrong?
  21. Are those the silencers i sold you? If so, They look a lot better.
