I don't think I want a over ride then I'm thinking my shee will end up with around 70HP since its not a drag or dune bike only open field,trail,and friendly drag bike and as far as the tranny I have a shift star already Ill end up getting a lock out clutch and shift shaft mod I was gonna get the trinity shift drum as well but I've heard a lot of bad things about other trinity stuff so I don't know
  3. So I would be able to keep the gas pinned and shift gears with no clutch? If I used the clutch I still couldn't down shift and I would have to slow down a lot to down shift?
  4. came somebody explain what a over ride tranny does that makes it better then stock I dont know anything about it
  5. Thanks for answering my question I think my jetting would be ok with no lid I put so many holes in my lid and my mains are 310s and pilots 27.5 but hey you never know
  6. Im just trying to decide if I should hold off on a better air filter or not Im just concerned the stock filter might restrict flow but im not sure.I know it probably doesnt filter as well but I clean it frequently anyway
  7. With those mods and as clean as it looks I say its worth 3000 all day
  8. How does the stock banshee air filter flow compared to a aftermarket foam style filter on a air box with a generous amount holes in the lid?
  9. If you think I don't want the gnarlies with a ported 4mill can you tell me a good pipe that starts pulling sooner more then most used on a stroker motor because gnarlies have a nice powerband and I was told they can handle a 70hp set up
  10. Its too late its coming already if it doesn't last Ill get the Barnet next for now I only have gnarlys,powercore 2s'fresh 60 over wisecos'tors gone,+4 timing and holes in the airbox for performance so it should hold for now but when I'm ready to have it ported and 4mill stroker.....
  11. so when I push the lever to line up with the arrow they should line up like you said at the point were its lined up and stopped with my finger pressure but the clutch would still be fully engaged at that point correct? The clutch I ordered today is a EBC dirt racer I think the springs are slightly stiffer than stock
  12. just wondering about the arrows on the case used for adjusting the clutch,should they be lined up when my clutch lever is pulled in?

  14. When I get the head I'm gonna either mix 93 and 112 50/50 or use 104 even if its not ported yet even though a port job and +4 stroker are in the plans
  15. I have a set of Kenda klaws size 22x11x9 they are used but still good I'm looking to maybe trade for holeshots razers or turf tamers size 20x11x9 I might be willing to throw in cash depending on the deal 860 459 9462 is my number

My buddy has a 01 with toomy t 6 exaust and v force reed valves tors eliminators and the motors stock he rides it hard and even does burnouts with his front brakes locked runs perfect and another friend of mine has a 98 with fmf fattys fmf ram valves and fmf jet kit and he goes sick on pavement I saw him burnin them in 4th gear and his also runs strong still these motors last when taken care of

It probably is the key switch mine is off but I'm thinking about putting it back maybe on the top corner of the grill.I was going nuts with that damn thing what a fluke it is that I left the plug behind I could imagine what I would go through to get it running if the plug was thrown out by mistake without me knowing!
  18. The head is stock I'm gonna get a nicer head I've only had my banshee for 5 1/2 weeks and I had to give her fresh pistons and fresh paint and swing arm bearings already so the head hasn't come up yet on the never ending banshee list but it will lol
  19. My current mods that effect the engine performance are full exaust no tors/jetted carbs 60 over pistons and a adjustable timing plate set at +4 my question is will I be fine at 93 octane?I understand the compression but am new to timing adjustment
  20. Ok so I got it running today I was looking in my garage and there was a plug I left behind with wires spliced together I plugged it in to the harness and first kick she fired! What a great sound the motor makes

I just put my bike together after rebuilding the top end and painting the chassis it had spark before I took it apart but not anymore I made sure the grounds were all clean theres no tors I tried the box for them near the coil both plugged and un plugged plus the ignition wires are twisted together when I kick it the lights start to glow so Im assuming the mag/stator are good and I put my friends cdi on still no spark.I have work off tomorrow so Im going at it again and targeting the coil,do you guys think the coil can go bad between the rebuild and if not give me some ideas and as always thanks
  22. In Connecticut a clean shee with those mods would sell for mid 2 thousands right now around here if you were to sell a quad you can't get everything its worth because lots of people are sacrificing
  23. I know what the hard/soft knob is for but what is the adjustment for at the bottom of the rear shock I think it changes travel but I'm not sure why I would want to

I've been a member for a short period of time mainly because I switched to a Banshee just over a month ago and this is by far the best site for YFZ350 guys I've been on daily and really like it but I still like magazines all the points you guys have are good points though.what does a premium membership get you I could find out by going in the section for it probably right?
