I think he's trying to piss us off with the stock vs stock crap fact of the matter is it doesn't take much for us banshee guys to smoke a raptor dollar for dollar the banshee is faster and we all know its WAY cooler!nobody gives a crap about stock vs stock but yeah the craptor would win I recall burning a few on the 86 ATC250R I had and my motor was only 270ccs

its not even 40 over because I took my old piston from the other top end Im rebuilding and its smaller than that 40 over one,also I have a guy wanting my extra stock crank thats from a running motor I told him 100 shipped is that also fair enough?

I live in CT can anybody tell me a shop who I can trust to weld my crank either in or near CT?

I'm selling my extra unported top end for extra rebuild money and want input on what I should ask because sat morn a guys coming to buy them.The head is mint and the bores have no bad damage but could use a hone and the pistons have most of those lines going around worn off but did run and idle strong before being taken off I just wanted to have her new so what is fair I was thinking 180 and I was gonna throw in a good steering stem what do you guys think is that fair?

I have a good stock head and stock cylinders unported I don't know if it is stock bore but it has wiseco pistons and smaller bore than 40 over the motor ran before being taken apart I will include the pistons but am not considering it a running top end for the fact I don't feel the pistons and bore are fresh enough to call it that I want 180 shipped I'm located in Torrington ct 06790 my cell is 860-459-9462 call or text if interested and Ill get pics

As you know Im new to the site Ive had my 97 Banshee for 2 weeks and its been stripped and painted already Im about to put it together.My go fast mods for now are timing plate set at 4 degrees,gnarly pipes with power core 2 silencers,boost bottle,TORS eliminators and 310 mains/27.5 pilots,power reeds,clamp on filters and I have 60 over wisecos on the way and Im gonna run 13/41 sprockets.Now my buddy who is the one to beat has a YFZ450 with full HMF exaust and high compression piston running 110 fuel,what do I need to get him on pavement and dirt? My other buddys Banshee gets him about every 1 out of 3 races and hes not ported and has 19cc domes.just looking for a rough estimate from somebody whos run a lot of races

I used the impact gun like you said it worked great thanks now I can start putting my rolling chassis back together then get nice heads to go with my new pistons

Im trying to get the steering stem bearing out its spent but the holder wont budge I pb blasted it a few days tried to heat the shit out of it too my tool is a nut with a bolt welded to it I grinded to match the bearing holder did any of you have this issue?

I traded my mint 87 LT250 with CT motor and aftermarket everything for a 97 Banshee that has black plastics and seat and red tank cover/grill,swing arm skid chassis skid,TORS eliminator/jetted w/310 main 27.5 pilot(too small?),fresh gnarlys/powercore 2s,adjustable timing plate,boost bottle,brand new polished rims ITP I think with kenda klawa,nerf bars,msr bars,clamp on foam filters(Im from CT and need a airbox coming soon),I think thats it I just ordered .060 over wisecos and the frame just was painted black with clear coat and a arms/swinger a metalic looking red.Im happy as hell to have a Banshee even mor then when I had my 86 ATC270R all done up I feel the banshee is the coolest of quads and ill post pics guys

I want a pipe that come on from the bottom very strong and pulls all the way up through the mid range.. I'm used to built 250's so I need strong pull.

have FMF Gnarly pipes on my banshee right now, and my friend has a pair of paul turner mid range pipes.. I think I can get him to trade, Do you think I should??
