  1. I love 250Rs but I'm gonna have to say no, I wouldn't trade my banshee for one. I would on the other hand love to have both without a doubt. Some of those Rs with sabertooth top ends are near 500cc's and fuckin evil as hell
  2. How much power are you making that you snapped a DID? Do you have a rear skid? I snapped 2 renthal chains on my built R I had and went to DID with great luck. My banshee now has DID and once again its a good chain.
  3. I did a leak down test a few weeks ago and it was fine. I have a extra stock crank with very tight connecting rods, I think Im gonna have it welded by a site sponsor. I obviously need new main bearings, im adding a cool head also, and mint welded crank. once I have it ported I plan on ending up at about 70hp, would a good stock/welded crank hold up well with nearly 70hp?
  4. probably because everyone is running wisecos from wiseco, not wisecos from vitos.
  5. my left pipe has been vibrating when I rev it up, at first I thought it was hitting the boost bottle(worthless I know), after checking it out I pulled the stator cover off to learn the main bearing has play when I grab the mag and move it. can a worn main bearing cause it to break up a little? Im gonna take it out and replace the bearings, have the crank welded and add a cool head.
  6. you may run out of things you need to get it in perfect running order but theres always gonna be more stuff you need just for the fact you want to be faster, plus some shit is just for the simple fact we love the bad ass appearance! I guess the answer depends on how much cash you can spend and what youre after, most of us picture our banshees as very fast and extremely pimped
  7. well, you can still trade for a 300EX and some cash! Lol
  8. thanks that might save me from buying another set of jets if these 300s lean it out enough
  9. Do the main jets from a mikuni 28mm flat slide work in stock 26mm mikuni carbs?
  10. I didn't do a plug chop but my plugs are fouled out. I'm now thinking the reason it doesn't hit good down low is because the 310s end up fouling the plugs. Instead of using the 30s with my new lower gearing, I'm gonna drop the mains a little
  11. I was just wondering about trying 30 pilots with the new gearing to fix my extra shitty bottom end. I have my needle in the middle groove, main jets are 310. my top end hits perfect so even if its a little rich, it doesnt matter. The bottom end is ass(idles mint). I ordered my 13T so combined with the 41, i should get some bottom end from my 22'' monster truck tires (I hope) haha
  12. 88 and 89 were very alike, I think all the TRX's are very popular though. personally I like the 88-89 plastics and swingarm, the motor didnt have a big enough difference as say, 85-86 LT's, to 87-92, for me to want it so bad over previous years. back to the post haha I don't see the TRX250R or the yfz350 going anywhere any time soon. I'm not near any legendary dunes, that doesn't mean there's a lack of quads and damn sure doesnt mean the 450 is ending the banshee and 250R. both the legendary 2strokes are very much loved around my parts(theres many 4pokes too )
  13. the above reply was to this response
  14. then again, the 250Rs are all around still. I have friends with 6 TRX's, and 4 ATC's. theres only 5 others with shees in my group.
  15. I pulled the sprocket off a spare axle I had so I didn't specifically order it. I just wanted to gear it down for now until I burn the 22s up and get 20s. I'm just gonna put a 13 on the front and the 41 on again
  16. Forget to say the problem is the power hit is flat on bottom and mid range. My question basically is, to get better bottom/mid power, should I get the 30s to go with 13T sprocket?
  17. heres the deal, my banshee is running almost 100% where I want it. it idles mint and top end power is great. I currently have 27.5 jets, 22s for tires, and 14/40 gearing. I'm gonna order a 13T front sprocket and am wondering if I should snatch some 30 pilots? I have 60 over wisecos, +4 timing, and gnarlys with a lid that has more holes in it then not
  18. Im going to sue james lucky for wrongful loss of bottom end!
  19. Your gonna need to pin point the leak, as for the bearings, take the link off the chain, pull the left wheel/hub off the axle, take the 2 axle nuts off, slide the sprocket and the hub its bolted to off, unbolt the rear caliper, slide the axle through the carrier. now you take the bearings out, I use a big worn socket extension I have tapping the bearings out from inside on the opposite side
  20. he's asking about the hub the sprocket bolts directly on to, not the hub the rim goes on. You probably read it real fast and weren't paying attention
  21. you're a cop who rides, that means you understand. the cops who don't ride treat ripping down a back road like some serious crime around my parts of CT. I have done some riding with a cop(friend of a friend), he actually drank beers with everyone and didn't say shit about some of the guys smoking pot.
  22. Turns out the james lucky has 45T but only has 40 teeth! now I have to fuckin swap it back out for the 41 again I dont get it, 45T means 45 teeth
  23. I'm in CT and called a small local shop I deal with at 3PM asking for a terminator clutch cable, 2PM the next day I had it plus he carries klotz. Shows its hit or miss from shop to shop but if You live in east bumble fuck you just might be fucked haha. The site sponsors have all the go and show we want, maybe you can order klotz from one of them?
