I can see the advantage of the extra tanks but I could never get used to all that extra weight on the rear. Wouldn't it kill performance as well as overall balance? I can ride for hours on a tank. Where are you going?

It seems to me that 250 mains isn't nearly enough jetting for FMF's and no airbox lid. The lack of an airbox lid would require 230-240 jets alone never mind the pipes.

My wife once put 87 octane into one of my Jetskis and it ran slower and fouled plugs. I siphoned the tank and put back 94 and all was well in the world again. I find that 2 strokes work best on 91-94 octane

yo DRIGGS, i'm no expert in Banshee porting but have good experience porting cylinder heads for v8 Fords and all I can say is that is not at all acceptable. Not even close. What a mess. That would run like hell in a car. It looks like its very fixable however. Seems like theres ample material left to correct the ports. Just my $.02

I know a few people using AMSOIL Injector HP in their Banshees and they love it at 40:1 It also smells great.

The Raptor 700r is a goddam brick. It looks like a room full BMW driving yuppies designed it. Try lifting the front end out of a rut. I raced a kid down the highway on one and kept side to side until his top speed which was less than my Banshee. Yes, he was cursing

That tire doesnt even come in the right size so why even tell me that. Why would they be able to get one model but not another? I had no problems getting any Interco Swampers for my trucks so this seems really dumb. Just venting. I'm going to find some of course

That sounds like too much octane for no reason. I made the same mistake although I never had any bad noises occur. Forget the boost.

Please correct me if i'm wrong but isn't a BR8ES plug one heat range colder than a BR9ES? Pretty sure i'm right on this

I sure hope that auto clearcoat has flex in it otherwise its gonna crack when the plastics bend. Some paints and clears have a flex agent in the recipe to account for plastic bumpers etc....

The guy I am talking about is known for doing the jobs which have ALL the other shops scratching their heads. He owns and manages his own race teams. Highly modified Jetskis are actually his main interest and people come from all over the east coast to have him do work. I wouldn't trust any of my machines to anyone else. Other reputable shops have proven to be not so specialised. There must be someone closer to you?

There's a great shop near me called MOTO CHRISTIAN LAURIN. This man has often been referred to as "Yoda" because he is the master of 2 stroke machines. If the Montreal area isn't too far then he would be a good guy for the job

My Banshees motor is stock. I have BR8ES plugs and was curious if anyone has an opinion on ideal plug gap. I used to mess with the gap on my Jetski a bit to get more power at the top end. Is everyone using the gap out of the box?

If you used a slightly lower octane fuel such as 91 you wouldnt need to touch the timing

Flip the rear wheels around for about 3 inches of extra width. Wont work with the fronts unless you redo the valves.

On a little side note, if you use car paint and clear coat it should be resilient to gas

A few of my buds here have Holeshots and tell me they're basically useless in our mud. Thats why they run Vampires in the spring. Gonna shop around a bit and see whats on sale
