  1. Nice build. Different. Looks to me like you had a small party with your credit card at Cascade.
  2. Cooling mods are really gonna be a big help. Ditch the 18's. Get a 6 ply sidewall tire for woods.
  3. You might want to try a blow dryer or heat gun to put that right. Be careful if you use a heat gun
  4. Hey jon321. If I ever meet you i'm gonna feed you your fukin teeth.
  5. Midlife, that's funny. I had the exact same thought about hiding bottles on the trail. I would say that 2 hours is possible with a stock tank during winter if you are riding hard spinning everywhere. In the summer I can easily add another hour to that.
  6. I hope nobody if offended by this. I once actually managed to convince a girl from Florida that I lived in a high rise igloo. I swear
  7. I would get her to work out the right hand a bit more often. Hehe
  8. I've been curious how many members are here from Quebec. We should organize a meet or something. I know a crazy huge pit where we could ride and camp out for a weekend. It's 10 minutes from Chertsey near highway 125. There are trails that go in every direction forever and ever. The biggest danger is getting lost! So, speak up. How many are we from La Belle Province?
Wow it hurts. I'm lucky I didn't do worse damage. My buddy is saying that I shouldn't ride like that but what other way is there? There's no feeling like being sideways at warp factor 9 hitting apexes just perfectly. Ride on brothers and sisters
  10. Last night I took my Banshee for a good rip. The local trails were groomed the day before and hadn't been used at all as far as I could tell. They were smooth as glass. I was riding balls out in 4th hitting all the apexes sideways kinda like a rallye driver when I misjudged one and clipped the apex with the front tire. This was enuff to toss me off the bike and send the Banshee spinning in the air twice before it came down upside down narrowly avoiding me. The only damage were some badly bent handle bars and my fukin ego. Oh ya, my ribs are killing me and probably cracked. Hehe. At least shee started up when I flipped her back over. I ordered some new bars today so I'm feeling much better about the whole thing. I wish someone had caught that one on video. Damn it hurts when I laugh.
  11. Bullshit. Whoever says it doesn't make a difference is either lying to justify what they did or doesn't ride in real mud. Having fenders makes a HUGE difference. My buddy and I ride the same trail and he gets covered so much faster than me. I always come home cleaner and drier than him. No comparison.
  12. Yes, UPS fucks me every time with a brokerage fee often almost as much as what was ordered. Fuck UPS
  13. Every year around this time there is a large snowmobile drag race held on my lake. Several hundred people show up and its really a good time. I usually go with the Banshee to hang out and watch. I have to say that there are some pretty fast and loud sleds around but every time I started my engine tons of people turned to look. It felt great. When i ripped across the lake people were staring. Banshees sound the BEST. I love my fukin Banshee
  14. That bike looks like ASS
  15. He's just an idiot and can't help it.
  16. I'm from just north of Montreal so similar conditions. I run stock pipes and stock airbox in winter with 230 jetting and can assure you my jetting is perfect. I run on open lakes at WOT in 6th for long distances. It was -15celsius on the weekend and SHEE ran beautifully. My elevation averages around 1000ft above sea level. Im not too sure about the Dynojets(my buddy loves them)but for stock pipes and airbox, 230 lets me run safely. Any colder than -15 and you're a sick dude for being out there in that shit. My thumb gets so numb and cold i wanna scream. Thumb warmers don't really work well enough. How's the riding near you?
  17. I hear the studded Cheng Shins are great but I have to do a bit of road to get onto my lake because my own land is too steep to get back up in the deep snow. No studs for me. Most people around here run 4snows but they only last 1 season.
  18. If you wear an open faced helmet the goggles won't fog that much, but you'll freeze so I don't know which is worse.
  19. 4snow tires sell here in Canada for $55. each. That's in Canadian funds. Don't get hosed. I use 22x12.5x9 Realtors in the winter and they take me everywhere. The extra width helps in the deeper snow too. I spin them in the hardpack but i get sick traction and have no trouble running flat out in 6th. They get hard in the cold but I don't spend too much time on clean ice. Climbing hills on the snowy trail is a breeze. They also last longer than 1 winter.
  20. Your oil mix ratio has nothing to do with your problem. Mix is fine. Rejet now.
  21. Sorry Midlife, I respectfully disagree. Stock jets are gonna be 200 and you NEED to IMMEDIATELY change for 230 jets or you WILL blow up your motor. Whatever your summer jetting was (probably 200 on a stock pipe) you need to go up by 3 jet sizes for where you live in winter. Just do it now. Now.
  22. Special Blend that just sucks. Good luck
  23. I'm currently jetted for -30celcius so I can run all day long at WOT. The bikes just sound so much healthier in the cold as compared to summer. Cold dense air is beautiful. Someone said its like a highway on the lake, I agree. If i need a pack of smokes at the store in town, it's a straight line across 2 lakes and im there in 5 mins. We are allowed to ride the roads here too.(town bylaw) More of you should go out and experience this. I ride way more in winter than summer which hardly seems possible. Winter riding is all high speed because the rough trails get all smoothed out and the lakes are all open speed zones. Just don't forget to rejet.
  24. I can't even begin to describe how good it feels to be out on the lakes again. I just love ripping it across vast distances at WOT in 6th. It's also the only time of year that I dont feel like she's gonna blow up at full pin. Cold air is definitely our friend. My bike just loves -12celcius. It sings. I got yelled at by a pack of Skidoo riders for being on their trail a bit but you know how that goes.... sorry, can't hear you.
