  1. send your bike to me. ill take it before you push it off a cliff.......hell its not the bikes fault you fucked up and sent perfectly good cylinders to trinity.
  2. I think he went limping back home after he got an anal raping. Probably sitting there going "damn those fuckers are brutal over there...."
  3. you may want to rethink going and replacing your frame for an a-frame bike. I say that because AFTER you spend another $300....you still stuck with the SHITTY stock suspension. Save the $300 and then invest it into new j-arms and find some aftermarket used shocks and have them reworked.....you'll be happier than hell
  4. that HAS to be the ugliest stator that I've ever seen. Damn I don't think ive ever seen a nastier looking thing ever on a bike....haha
  5. stay away from anything but OEM.....doesn't matter what the company says about its product.....OEM is the only one that people don't tend to have problems with. Hell Ricky Stator says that they're stators are better and stronger than stock......but they don't tell you itll only last about 30 minutes...... While RM is supposedly better than Ricky Stator.......there have been people on here that have had quite a few problems with BOTH RM and RS stuff
  6. pilots.....go up on them. aftermarket pipes, and stock pilots create a lean situation down low.......when the clutch is pulled in or the bike is in neutral....it will rev fine. This is because there is no load on the motor. But put it in gear and try and leave....depending on how much you've revved it and a bunch of other variable......it starves on take of. Try putting in LARGER pilots......not new 25 pilots.
  7. the banshee Trans's are all interchangeable.... if you want to change things up, change the gearing with your sprockets....
  8. Guess its a good thing for us we only have to drive a couple hours tops to ride Michigan huh Windy?
  9. call a builder.....tell him what you have. Then tell him you have a $1000 budget and ask him what he recommends that will fall into that bracket and get you more power. They will know what you need, including dome size and what not.
  10. FAST Racing (farmandsandtoys.com) has the cats ass of clutches.....a lot of guys on here run his clutch and have never had problems. Also a lot of guys run those clutches in their drag bikes and say they hold together DAMN GOOD.
  11. like apeik said......1800 is PENNIES vs. what his buddy has into a stroked and cammed 700. Not to mention with a good port job, a +4mil crank, and bolt ons.....your looking at being in the 70's for power......not the 64 his buddies pricey 700 makes....
  12. stock carbs? choke tube in place?
  13. and the point of arguing your setup in a post that was last responded to 5 years ago???
  14. you'd be throwing away your money if you port em right now. Depending on how much your looking to spend....you could go like loco suggested and get different aftermarket cylinders to make more power, or you could also go with pod style air filters, reeds, and +4 timing. Those little things will need to be done to make the most power on aftermarket cylinders anyways.
  15. well....we know one thing.....if bansheefromhell needs a tranny cut he's gonna need to find someone other than cam to cut it....... even if I were to think that some of the larger name guys on here had no idea what they were talking about....I would still bite my tongue....especially if they are a person who provides a fantastic service that every one of us will need when we start making hp.
  16. correct........YOU should not be ordering your pistons. Let the machine shop do that. They will mic your cylinders and tell if you need to be bored/honed, and then they will order the correct pistons......then a GOOD machine shop will WAIT until they receive the pistons to bore your cylinders. This is because no matter what, pistons are always JUST a cunt hair different in size and any good machine shop will want to make sure the tolerances are absolutely correct. This is why sometimes you will get brand new pistons back and the machine shop has marked them LEFT and RIGHT.......its because they measured them first THEN bored them to exact size based on the piston to go into that jug.
  17. clean the carbs, sync them, then make sure you unplugged the tors brain box and disconnect the parking brake
  18. your going to need at least a mix. it all depends what your compression and squish and elevation are..... The best would be to call up whatever builder your going to purchase the domes off of and ask them.....they'll be able to set you up with what you need.
  19. 19cc domes at 900' is going to put you over what 93 octane can handle......at that point your going to need either a mix of race/premium pump or straight race fuel. As cam said...use your brain. These bikes are a world of fun....if you pay attention to them.
  20. you're top end is in need of a bore/hone and new pistons. You should be kicking somewhere around 125 psi (unless your running a milled head or a noss style head). You should also have NO MORE than 10% of a difference in compression between your cylinders.......and TRUTHFULLY it should be closer to no more than 5% between cylinders. 2strokes are MEANT to have the top ends rebuilt.....it will roughly cost you about $300-$400 depending where you go to get the top end rebuilt. IF you don't get it taken care of and continue on the already hurting motor you can do more damage that will cost you more money in the long run. my friend just did this.....kept pushing his luck and was in the 90's for psi and suddenly he dropped on cylinder all together....0 psi. pulled it down and he snagged a ring and took a chunk out of his exhaust port........wound up with aftermarket cylinders now.....he spent almost $2000 now to get running again when he could have spent $300 and been back up.....of course he did go with a bigger motor but he would have still been over $1000
  21. make sure that wire actually has a good contact......and try your method of touching a wire from frame to motor.....see what happens.....
  22. well......the only carbs that I know of that do the dual choke through a single lever is the stock mikuni vm26 carbs. Other than that most of the aftermarket carbs that are worth a damn that can be added to a banshee have dual choke knobs.
  23. moral of the story......if you had done a plug chop and you knew it was burning the plugs white........why the fuck wouldn't you give us that info? haha.....shit if you said that we could have told you the problem within seconds of seeing your description. We cannot give decent info/ideas on what the problems can be if you hold back info from us.....
  24. Dont forget to also pickup some feeler gauges and also a mic........ measurements are important to keep the motor running up to par...
