    just so we can get a starting point: it ran with all Thomas's electronics after the rebuild. stopped running, I figured it was the flywheel what was rattling like crazy. Thomas bought a new after market one from motor city atv. wasn't the flywheel, as there was still no spark. gave him a older style stock stator in good shape. bike runs with it installed and the new after market flywheel. a few days later, now something else is wrong.

    from the pictures it looks unplated, plating should almost "shine" next to cast aluminum. a better pic of the bore would show it

    what stroke is the cylinder? 64? and what stroke was it ported for

    .020 base gasket and run 93 octane

    With a stock cylinder at 4.037, a .020-24 base gasket and standard pin height piston you should be .010 from the top of the bore at tdc.

    Two different pvls. One from 2009 and one from before then. Both ran off one kill switch.

    I've had the same ybn hold non oring chain on a 100-120hp bike for 3 seasons. And a oring ybn chain on my stock is bike for 1 season
