  1. im not sure you know what your getting. a "12" port cylinder is a stock cylinder with triple exhaust ports and 2 extra holes jim makes in the sleeve. a stock cylinder has 8 ports. a cub cylinder has 11 ports stock.
  2. Matt Willis went 5.30 at 121mph just about a month ago. 20dm 710cc
  3. you sure its a 7 (61mm stroke)? cuz its looks like a 10mm, with 64 on the top of the intake.
  4. correct, remove it from the carb. file the notches a bit.
  5. Remove the choke, pull the knob out all the way, hold the brass shaft with needle nose, be careful. Now take a small file and file the choke position notches slightly. They get wore down after time. Try this a few times you'll notice them sticking and stopping in the half and full position.
  6. run a tube under that big sassy river and use the swazey express to haul your dope over.
  7. mobil 1 5w30. the regular synthetic, no extended life or high mileage stuff.
  8. Make sure the nuts thread onto the studs really smoothly. Run a die over the studs. If its a flanged nut grind some of the flange off. If you can grind some of the cylinder. And finally grind the wrench
  9. Dm cylinders don't come like cubs where they are ready to run with the ports cp casts. They have to be ported.
  10. have you ever raced on the ice? if so why are you the only person that doesn't think a 10mm cub will work? on a good day on anchor bay there could be up to 6 or so 10mm cub racing. give us some pictures of your bike
  11. Why isn't the cub going in?
  12. Twister, Vitos, l.a. sleeve, t-rex, superior sleeve
  13. Call each place or go there websites. Its going to cost more to plate two single cylinders like Athenas then it will be to plate a mono block twin cylinder like a cub.
  14. There's only 3 places to send them to for replating. Millennium technology (best) Langcourt U.s. chrome
  15. Mod quad 20cc big bore (66-68.5) 9° for blaster piston
  16. Also a 1mm pin height difference from 795 to 573 pistons. Bump for a good deal
  17. Not ever have pistons come with wrist pin bearings.
  18. I have a balanced crank from them. And have had it checked out when I got it back. We found that it stayed balanced with less and more bob weight. When I asked what would happen from switching from 68mm to 78mm pistons, they said to send it back to be checked out. Which I can see because of the drastic change. But again the difference of a mm or two is bot going to affect it
  19. There are already age requirements. 16+ for 4.0 or faster, finding a 75lbs jockey that older then 16 is not likely
  20. Correct about not balanced, but on a balanced crank its not needed to rebalance after a bore. The weight difference between a .010 bore and .020 or .0.30 etc. piston is not enough to throw it off. A few mm's difference is still questionable. Side to side rod play should be .024-.040"
  21. the p.c. on vitos black webbed cranks is correct, but the factory that makes them has also made cranks for other ppl but the webs are not black. the 10mm vito cranks were done in about 2010 when the denny wang cranks hit the market, is was vitos decision not to make them anymore since the crank market is now flooded with cheaper less quality cranks. the rods on all vitos 10mm cranks were 30L rods, 115mm. black webs and all japanese bearings with pins not o-ring. just fyi for anyone trying to identify a crank. also who was it rebuilt by? all things to consider posting when putting it up for sale.
  22. i don't know what brand that is but its not a vitos. no black webs, no vitos rods, O-rings on the bearings and someone has welded the pins all the way around(sumthing you wont see on a vito crank).
  23. these are real. Thai-racing Co, Ltd makes them. http://wxyixin.en.alibaba.com/ http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dirt-Bike-CNC-BILLET-UNIVERSAL-RACING-ATV-QUAD-THUMB-THROTTLE-ALUMINUM-GOLD-NEW-/140911340571 this is who imagine bansheefen is with http://www.pmcracetech.com/
