Hey guys It's been a while since I last been online. Haven't had a working comp in a while. Anyways I need some advice on what mod would be best to do next. I have about $500 tax return to play with. I ride mostly trails but am planning on going to the track alot this season. Can't decide between a Scott's steering stabalizer or a -1.5 or -2 JL roundhouse swinger Both would be nice, but what should I do first? Mods: +2+1 eyeball engineering a arms LT elka stage 2 shocks Stock motor Fmf fattys gold series powercore 2 silencers K&N filter with power lid Pro taber bars 21" track star with 18" ITP hole shots Stock gearing Being installed now are... Durable +2 +4 adjustable axle Tors kit +4 timing plate Parking brake delete Elka elite LT rear with linkage New sprockets and chain Any advice or recommendations would be appreciated, both look like good products, but I dunno what is better to get first. Thanks guys!!!

hey guys havent been on here in a while, been so busy at work. i noticed my lower pivot bolt is gone on my swing arm. this is the second time this has happened. first time it was just the nut. this time the shaft is completley gone, as well as the nut. is it normal for this to get loose constantly? it seems like I have to tighten the upper and lower bolts every ride. just my luck, the time i forget, the whole things falls out. is their anything i can do to prevent this from happening? looks like i wont be riding this weekend:(

From what i remeber its like maybe 1/8" of material u grind off. I dunno why my ground clearence was so low? I had eyeball engjneering long travel arms. And i had maybe 5" of clearence jn the front. They are meant for 17.5" shocks. Amd the yfz are 15" i believe. Havent installed my elkas yet, im praying that i get more clearence. Otherwise i would have just kept the yfz shocks.
-
All i can say is dont do it. I put yfz shocks on eyeball engineering long travel arms. Rides fine, but suspension is too soft and i only had about 5 inches of travel on the front. Pointless IMO.
-
Ya it works, theirs a thread showing how to install at the top of the page. I have some for sale if you are interested. Good shape off a 08 i believe. Would have kept them but i didnt realize i had long travel a arms. If your using +2 arms they work good. If stock not so much. Will put stress on your ball joints. Will also be an 1" higher.

Ended up getting them sand blasted and powder coated for $90 . Havent got them back yet. Hopefully they turn out good.

They are preload and comprrssion adjustable triple rate with remote rezzy
-
What are zps shocks?
-
Lol they are the right length 17" eye to eye. I ordered the stage 2 elka long travel with remote rezzy. My question was why it sits so low to the ground. Im guessing because the springs are not as stiff? I still have not installed my new elkas yet. With the yfz shocks installed on long travel A arms, their is only about 5 inches of clearence between the ground and bottom of the arms.
-
No i bought eyeball engineering +2+1 a arms. Didnt realize i had long travel arms. So i bought yfz shocks . Sits way to low, so i ordered long travel elkas. Havent installed them yet. Hope it doesnt sit as low as my current set up.
-
Yea just got off the phone. I do need 17". But why does it sit so low with th yfz shocks? Springs waaay to soft maybe?
-
So i just received my long travel elkas today, but im a little confused. Right now i have my +2+1 long travel a arms with yfz shocks. It sits supper low because They are not long travel. But when i measure eye to eye they are the same. 17" eye to eye. If their long travel shouldnt they be longer?

Man she looks good! How much did those plastics cost you? U get them shipped to BC? I may judt do what toytech did and trim a few inches. Exacto knife anf warming up the plastics with a blow dryer worked awesome for the fronts. But it was mostly straight lines. -

Yea i got a pair of that size as well. But they are turf tamers and are so shot that they look like slicks lol. How much ground you havewith those. I find the 20x11x9 looks like a huge bubble tire. -

Toytech they look good man, im a fan of he clean simple look. You have any pics of both the left and right rear fender in the same pic. Did you cut around the bolts that hold the Plastics to the frame? -

Savage420 your bike is sick!! Mines slowly looking alot like yours . You have any close up pics of your plastics. How much where they? Was shipping to BC a lot? Toytech those look pretty good. Did those stress marks result from you cutting them? Did they still over some mud protection? I ride the same shit as you savage420 -
Are yoy supposed to sand blast before you powder coat? Or is that just for paint? I havent looked in to how much poweder coating would be.
-
I was wondering the same thing. Would it be a good idea to get them sandblasted, then powedercoated? Or maybe paint if powder coating is to expensive.
-
Hey guys Was wondering if anyone has trimmed their rear fenders. Not dune style. I ride mostly trails, soon mx. I got the fronts race cut, looks off balance with full rears. I like the rear fully cut, but dont like the mud protection. So if anyone has trimmed them a bit , i would like to get some ideas So post your pics!!!! Im

06BCBANSHEE replied to bambam7689's topic in General Banshee Discussion
How often do you have to change the flex drive? That shit is abiut $15 a quart around here. Dont see it being that much better, as long as you change it often. We will see how long my clutch and tranny lasts. It shifts great nice and smooth still with no problems
