  1. Hey guys So I got my stock axle removed, and I'm in he process of installing the x33. However I'm not to sure exactly how the posi loc is supposed to work. Some pics would really help me out. I got the instructions from durablue but they are kinda vague. Not sure how the loc collar hat goes on the brake side of the axle is supposed to work as well. If you have this some pics would be awesome. Thanks guys!!!
  2. Damn I wouldn't have been able to afford them anyway lol. I got my stage 2 elka with remote ressy for 800. They look sick man, now go jump that bitch
  3. Like the banshee's front end is too heavy. Not the actual shocks. Oh well I'm happy with the elkas. These look sick tho.
  4. Looks sick man. Nice paint job to btw. When I was looking for shocks for my LT arms everyone said stay away from fox because the banshee is to heavy, curious to see how these perform. How much they run you?
  5. Ya will do, gotta do what u gotta do. Hate the look of 20" anyways lol. I'll most likley be using the 18" more often anyhow I suppose. Since I'm not a fan of the huge rocky trails where 20" are needed. Hopefully hey don't need to be cut tho. Can't wait to try my new rear end. Gonna be like a new bike with the swingarms, axle, and elka elite with linkage
  6. Not sure what your saying lol, I'm guessing nerf bars are a pain? Do the DG nerfs not have heel guards? I'll prob just cut the heal guards If they rub. Or buy new nerfs just got them powder coated
  7. Ya I'll be doing the same, going from 18-20" tires. Theirs not much around here for Hill climbs. So it would be mostly back logging roads, trails, and mx. I really dunno what to do. I suppose I could do -1.25" lol. God damn it, someone decide for me lol, I clearly can't!
  8. Yea I asked DDQ he isnt sure. I was planning on doing the -1.5. Well if they rub I'll just have to run 18" or grind off the heel guards lol. I think I would regret not doin the -1.5 . First world problems lol
  9. Are you happy with the -1 or do you wish you went shorter?
  10. Hey savage420 so you think -1.5 would still be ok?
  11. Hey guys Figured you guys could answer my question, I'm about to order a -1.5 JL swingarm. I ride mostly trails, but looking to go to the track as well. Anyone know if a -1.5 will work with 20" tires with the AC nerf bars, with the built in heel guards. I would prefer to have a -1.5 over a -1, but if it means I can't run 20" tires with my nerf bars then I'll get -1. Still waiting on my PayPal to be approved so I have a cpl days to figure out what would be best Any input or help would be appreciated, thanks guys!!
  12. What size did you end up ordering? I dunno whether do get flat black or gloss? My bike is all black
  13. Ya man, by far best guy I have delt with. I ordered by pay pal, so it takes a few days to clear, mines gonna take 3-4 weeks cause it's Completley custom, can't wait to get it !!
  14. Well I decided to order up a -1.5 JL swingarm. John is a awesome guy to deal with, prob the best customer service I have experienced buying something online. He answered every e mail promptly, no matter how stupid the question was. Most other companies wouldn't even respond to my email. He is also making it 4 pinch bolts. Just to be sure I will have no problems , since shipping parts to BC Canada is a bitch. Also he contacted many shipping companies to see what was cheapest. Skid late mounts, short brake line , beaing carrier , powder coat, all included at a cheap price, compared to everyone else. Can't wait to get it. If your looking for a swingarm go with JL , customer service is worth it alone!!
  15. I have some 450 shocks for sale. I originally bought them Off Sangaherant a yr ago. Good shape, their off a 06 I believe. White springs. Asking $150 plus shipping. Bought my a arms used, too my suprise they were meant for LT shocks. Can send pics, comp is down so I can't upload pics off my phone. I check my email very regularly throughout the day.
  16. Ya the porting is gonna be a winter project. For now I'm getting the swing arm
  17. Ya after watching that video on your review, pretty much shows how durable it is. No problems with them coming loose?
  18. Zach45. That set up looks sick!! Damn their both nice. ASR is selling them for 650 with the carrier. And they have 4 pinch bolts, and skid plate mounts. JL is a little cheaper , has 2 pinch bolts. Not sure if they have skid plate mounts? They both look like quality products . Anyone have the luxury of having to have tried both?
  19. One thin I don't like about the JL is there is only 2 pinch bolts, the American star has 4 and is about the Same price. Wouldnt 4 bolts be better than two ? (stupid question)
  20. Hey thanks, only thing is I'm using the ad nerfs wih built in heel guards, I think they are a bit longer, and looks like it would rub.
  21. Thanks man, ya I will be ordering one as soon as my tax return comes. If the 20" don't fit then I'll go with a -1. I do trail ride mostly so I would like to have 18's for the track and 20's for trails. That vid of you doing that double was nuts!! Hopefully I can ride like that someday, haven't had a chance to try a track yet, but I am very excited. My stock carrier is shit too, my pivot bolts constantly come loose. As well as my adjusters. Thanks for the review, it really made me wanna get one! Can't wait to ride it with the new rear shock, axle and now a swingarm. She's gonna handle like a dream now!
  22. Hey DDQ, ya your review made me want a JL swinger. The Scott's stabalizer isnt the stick kind, it's a top of the line product, with adjusting on the fly. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna do the swing arm. I have two sets of tires and rims. Will a 20" tire fit with ur swingarm, I'm running the same Nerf bars as you. The 20's are on t9 baja. 18" are on reg rims ( not sure what brand) . Did you notice any differance when jumping? I'm just getting into mx this year, for now practicing, if I'm any good I'll start racing lol
  23. Haha I was planning on porting and boring it .30 over next winter. Don't want to have my jugs sent out and not be riding. It's still plenty fast for me. As you can see from my other mods I'm trying to make it handle like a dream lol. But I may consider porting, how much would that be? I still think its fast already lol
