Just food for thought, I think Cam was just offering some comic relief! Tone does not come across very well in writing. I think this site will satisfy every one.

Nice to get some input from someone who really knows what the fuck their talking about!! This guy does this for a living and is not offering some bullshit shade tree mechanic opinion
I'm in need of some boot clamps on the inlet side of the carbs. I've tried my local stealership and MRCycles.com and I can't find any diagrams that show them. Can anyone help me out or does anyone have some for sale? I need some pretty bad...
Go to www.yamahapartsnation.com They do have them!!! I just bought some last year!! They cost $4.10 on the schematic on any of the yamaha parts sites.

The frame is more than likely bent. The U shaped portion that holds the stem and radiator gets bent back easily when the bike is rolled. You can bend it back into shape but it should be gusseted. That is usually what keeps the gas tank from comming out.
That is an ad for Toomey and of course they are going to say they are the best. FMF is the largest retailer of after market exhaust in the off road world and for good reason they make rider friendly, usable power for many different applications. If you want the best pipe period, get Shearers.
Hey man, some one was busted the other day in the KC area with a bunch of stolen quads and bikes. I don't know the details but might be worth looking into.
Where do these people come frome? I have said it before and I will say it again, buy new, brand name parts from a reputable company and you will only cry once!!!
I had to use a vise, Big wrench, breaker bar and heat! Those damn things usually have permanent lock tight on them. Once you get it off throw it away and get a pinch lock nut, worth every penny!
I have wondered why some one with the know how has not made a mold and start selling platic. If it was a quality product you could sell them like hot cakes for 100 bucks or so! $500 for 5$ worth of plastic is asinine!!! You would think some aftermarket company would take the wallmart approach and sell more for less.
