Just to be certain, the orange wire is positive and black negative?

I have timming plate already. I ask about CDI because have have a spark issue. I have another thread on this but I will explain what is going on. I am getting good spark on one side and intermittent spark on the other. I have tested the coil and the stator and they read good. CDI and stator are origional to 2000, the coil is 2 years old and flywheel is brand new. So I am wondering if the CDI is going bad or what. The bike will not start at all.

Do you mean removing the wire from the coil and then switch them or do you mean switch the plugs?

and very intermittent on the other. One side seems to be solid spark and the other only sparks once every 5 or 6 kicks. The stator and cdi are origional on a 2000 and the coil is 2 years old, flywheel brand new. Help. I have spent a fortune rebuilding this pile of shit and can't ride it!

Thoughts on whtat is the best CDI. I don't need programable shit, just good spark!

All I know about EFI is that it is way too expensive and hard to work on. Elegant simplicity is what makes these bikes so awesome!

I bit the bullet and ordered a new oem flywheel! What does lap the flywheel mean? You are going to be my new source of info, we have the the same bike!

Man, am I glad I came across this post! I have been chasing a hard starting, some times no starting banshee for a year! My bike is newly rebulilt and still giving me a pain in the ass with random spark. I pulled off the flywheel the other day and was ready to drop $300 on new oem stator untill I saw this thread. The engine is new by fast and yes the carbs are dialed in. My setup is in my sig for info. I have the loose sand sound in the flywheel. My question is, is the flywheel most llikely the problem or should I replace the stator while I am at it? Last time I ran the bike it ran for a day and then would not start the next day, not even pull start. I have done several visual spark tests and sometimes it sparks, sometimes it doesn't. I even had one side sparking and not the other. I am sold on the new oem stator if that is the problem because I don't believe in buying used electronics. Where can I get a quality flywheel? The new oem ones are a rip off! Thanks guys! p.s. the coil is new.

WTF this has two stroke exhaust out the back carbs up front. Looks like banshee cases but not cylinders.

I have been. It has a lot of small rolling hills no big dunes. You will not encounter a competition scene but fun little play area. Bring your paddles and whip.

Can you make a set for +2 burgard arms and if so how much?

I was wrong guys the cylinders are 66mm. You may get away with hone or one more bore as there are no sratches. Resleeving is the better route.

I also have a set of stock port cylinders.

I have a stock crank that is in usable condition it came out of my running bike. Let me know.

I have the kit on my biike. The piece you are talking about I moved farther to the back of the subframe. I run an air box with no lid and you could probably make it work by notching the air box. I just moved the gusset to behind the seat mount bracket just make sure it does not interfere with your grab bar mount holes!

Are those a arm skids for +2 arms and if so where did you get them? Armadillo?
