When I was in the market for a frame I called cascade and they will gladly give you a replacement frame with builders title for $900

I have a cool head and I ran into a similar problem. The gauge would not thread all the way in and I did not want to force it. I tried getting a reading on a new motor just to get a starting number as a gauge. I only got like 115 120 and noticed it was getting blow by so I called my builder. He said if it is not a snap on tester it is crap and don't worry I was at 160 psi.

I have similar set up and the 33 pwks are running at the same range now, stroked and ported, as they were on stock port and stroke. With the exception of the needle change(cel I think) narrower tapper. I am going to 155 mains now that it is warming up. Went up one size for winter and now that it is starting to bog its time to go down to 155 again. I have 48 pilots and needle is middle clip, air screws 2 turns out.

Is it just me or is this about 10 hp short of what has been advertised? Is the small carb holding this back?

What does that mean? Does horse power decrease at the race track? Are you saying that the weight difference is like having only 80 hp?

I don't know anything about snomo engines and sleds but a quick search shows most stock 600cc sleds in the 100+ hp range.

gusset kit I bought one of these and had it installed with the addition of some of my own! This kit does not address some of the most important weak spots like the steering stem mount at the gas tank and bottom mount. I had a welder fabricator help me make some for that as well. Buying the kit and paying someone can get expensive but if you have some know how it can be done much cheaper. I will see if I can post some pics.

I have the turbine core silencers on my sst pipes and like them. If you want spark arrested and quiet the FMF Q's are really your only choice.

There is nut at the bottom of each carb. Unscrew, drain fuel and the main jet is right inside. They make a handy little tool to change jets with or you can get a small socket on there. Do not torque on these, hand snug is fine. Your jetting range is the same as mine.

I have heard people say this before about the screws but I don't see how! I have a set on my bike and the screw seats down pretty good and is covered by plastic mount piece of the reed cage. My link
