  1. Hence the reason I said "entirely".
  2. Could just be a coincidence, but do a compression check. Sounds like you've got low compression. Do a leakdown test as well, and see if you've got any significant air leaks keeping it from starting.
  3. Not true, entirely. LED lights will flicker at lower RPM's if you do not run a battery or capacitor of some sort. Just FYI.
  4. Thanks for the heads up, Brandon. I have decided to only accept money orders from international customers. I will no longer accept paypal, or credit card transactions for this exact reason. It sucks that we are forced to do things to protect ourselves, but in an industry where there is very little profit per sale, we have to do what is necessary to continue to conduct business. Unless there are possible legal repercussions, I would suggest, as Jesse mentioned, posting his name and basic info so those of us who see this do not get involved with that individual.
  5. Here, I'll help him out. Here's some pictures. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Roll-Design-IMS-Heel-Guards-Yamaha-Banshee-350-Free-Shipping-/110955302154?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item19d5738d0a&vxp=mtr
  6. Wow really? Yeah, those are the right ones. Weird.
  7. I ran the 35w PIAA bulbs for two seasons with no problems. Tusk makes 35w bulbs just like the PIAAs for 1/6th the price, and tons of people have fantastic luck with them. Just gotta stick with the 35w bulbs. Also, jsin, check with NYUK, and see if he has any.
  8. Looks like I'll be heading out on Wednesday the 24th, and coming home on Sunday, the 28th. My bike won't be done, so I'll be riding my brother in laws spare trx450r. Sand car's staying at home. I need to order new axles and CV's, and don't feel like dicking with it before Halloween. We'll be staying at Roadrunner. I'll post pictures of my truck and trailer later on.
  9. I think he's talking about the Vapor or Endurance. FYI, though, they aren't accurate for shit. You'd be better off with a GPS app for your phone. I had a vapor on mine and almost NEVER looked at the speedo. If you have time to look at it, you're not riding fast enough.
  10. You will still need a DC Conversion and a battery to run those lights. Stock headlights use an H6M bulb, not an MR16. MR16 is what Trail Tech/lazerstar/walmart lights use. Also, a DC Conversion costs you $42.00 for the reg/rec, $15-20 for the battery and the H6M HID kit is about $30.00 shipped.
  11. I used the Honda gear oil because it had a little spout on the top.
  12. dude broski brohem brocathelon dudeseph.
  13. In a shock that small, it won't matter to you. Ignore what I said. Higher oil displacement means more accurate valving, and better cooling, yada yada yada. I've seen used Works non reservoirs sell for 150-200 on here on a pretty regular basis. I'd hang out and watch the FS section and see if anything comes up before you spend your budget on shocks that may or may not work.
  14. I believe mine would be way too soft for you. I was about 190-200 at the time, and they were cushy for me. At 250 you'll be way too heavy for them Those shocks appear to be a 36mm body, with a 12mm shaft. Pretty close to the stock ones. The geometry on a banshee vs a snowgo is completely different. Snowgo shocks are mounted extremely close to the outside edge, creating less leverage. They typically are softer when you put them on ATV's, because there is more leverage on the shock.
  15. If the Laegar's arms really are made for 17.25" you will be fine running 18" shocks. Typically 3/4" either way, + or - is fine. It's not PERFECT, but it will work without any issues, in my opinion. Of course, without having the bike in front of me, I cannot give you a concrete "YES" or "NO", but as long as those arms ARE indeed built for 17.25" you'll be fine. Dune valving typically is a little lighter valving than any other type of setup, but being completely honest, the difference is so minor, that 99% of people wouldn't notice. Buy the shocks, run them, and go beat the hell out of it.
  16. You had all these guns and didn't feel like you could say anything? Here's your puss card.
  17. Yeah Scott. Stop being such a doofus. Leave the alcohol at home too.
  18. I think you emailed me, but I haven't gotten to your email yet. Your best bet is to call Laegar and ask them. I want to say it was like 19.25, but I may be wrong.
  19. Like Sandking said, the hippies lobbied for it to be closed because of a stupid ass weed. ASA has been working on getting these closures opened back up since 2008. The RAMP (Recreation Area Management Plan) was approved 7th of this month, and there is a 30 day time frame for the hippies to appeal it, but from everyone I've talked to from ASA, it's not likely that they'll win an appeal. I guess until I see the markers come down, it's not 100% yet, but it's looking damn good. This is the last of 7 steps to get it opened back up. There is actually a section FAR north of the S2 that will be expanded as well. The very northern tip of the ISDRA just east of Calipatria.
  20. This is a google earth overlay of the old closures and the new closures. The only closures left in place is the purple section. I figure this is about another 40,000 acres of dunes that haven't been touched in 12 years.
  21. No need to call. The optimum shock length for the complete YFZ450 front end is 17.5 inches. That will get you back to around stock height. The YFZ450 shocks end up being a little too short because of where the banshee upper shock mount is located. Essentially, there's not really much you can do. The stock springs are progressive spring rates, so you can crank the preload as far as you can, but it's still gonna sit a little low.
  22. What's the truth, faggot? That you're a whiny little cunt who can't deal with people who aren't all peachy keen 24/7? I'd recommend you eat a dick, and grow a pair of balls. All you do is piss and moan about people being meanies to you. You're a pussy.
  23. I think I'll be there. Haven't decided 100% yet, but I don't see why not, unless my wife is working.
