  1. Give Tim at Stellar a shout. He makes his swingers from Chromoly, and will make you JUST about anything you want. You won't find a nicer swingarm. I'm not sure if he powder coats yet, but I know he's got AWESOME chrome... Tim - 520-481-6946, or PM him on here. "AZCustomquads".
  2. Would someone post the picture?
  3. Gone... I really feel bad for the poor son of a bitch who will be getting this pile of shit in the mail next week.
  4. So I got this phone from ATT about two weeks ago, because, well, they are my bitches. But they ended up winning because it's a pile of shit. It's slower than a horses ass, and freezes non stop. The slide out speakers are useless for music, and frankly think I would be doing someone a dishonor by charging them for it... So, it's free, just pay shipping. It's got the wall charger, car charger, two of those screen protectors, and a rubber case. No pics of the actual phone, because if I touch it again, I'll probably vomit. The picture below sure looks flashy, but I can assure you, this phone is bottom of the barrel, SHIT. Good day.
  5. Those HID's are going to be killer! When you're ready to do the LED thing, Hit me up. My 6" bars are 24w, 1440 lumens, and are $122 shipped. Available in either a flood or euro beam. Next step up is the 8" bar, 36w, 2160 Lumens, same thing: euro or flood -- $167 shipped!
  6. You know that with all of these tricks, you're supposed to be rinsing them out after the application of said spit/ball sweat/shampoo, or whatever.
  7. Someone's a little bitter...
  8. He thinks I'm a cop...
  9. An old trick that I use on my diving mask is spit... just hock a fat wad of spit on the inside of the lens, smear it around, then rinse the goggles out. Not sure if it works for snow, but thought I'd throw it out there.
  10. On the bright side, adition is complicated, apparently. $80+$24+tax= 100?
  11. Shouldn't it have a picture that is big enough to actually see?
  12. I talked to Tim today about them, his balls are too big...
  13. Have you checked with Tim? He stocks a lot of balljoints and heims.
  14. You might have an o-ring that went bad in the head, or there is a clog somewhere in the system. I would pull the head off and see if maybe one o-ring got pinched or something. Also check to make sure it is not dumping coolant into your cylinders. When it's running, do you notice any steam coming out of the exhaust? If not, it is most likely a clog somewhere in the cooling system.
  15. I like the raptor style plastics.
  16. He drinks a LOT before he comes on the HQ... I hear alcoholism is a huge problem in Alaska.
  17. My insurance company is American National. They insure everything... golf carts, buggies, jewelry, general liability, everything... and have never once hesitated to pay out a claim... Almost didn't even ask questions. I think the only thing they DON'T insure, is special events, but you can just get a general liability policy for a year, and that will cover it, usually cheaper than buying special event insurance for one day... and you've got it for a year. Yes, in California, they sell out of state registration stickers. Last time I checked it was $23, and was available pretty much everywhere. I'm not 100% sure it's required out there, but I would imagine so, otherwise there's no reason to sell them. Might be worth buying, just to make sure you don't get dicked with. Bri, no plates, just a small sticker.
  18. No, it's not required, but I insure everything I own. God forbid that I hit a doctor or lawyer while out riding, and paralyze him, and have to pay his mortgage, and all the rest of his bills for the rest of his life. I just have too much to lose to not have insurance out there. Hopefully it will be required soon! It'd be nice to know that more people out there are insured as well. It cost me 13 bucks a month for full coverage on my bike, and it was included under my $2m umbrella policy as well. Covered theft, fire, anything... Well worth it in my opinion.
  19. While most of your info is accurate, I need to clear up a few things. It is VERY true that the BLM, and ISO don't mess around on big weekends. They will not pull you over "to see if you've been drinking". If you're riding like a douchebag close to people, or don't have a flag, proper tail light, etc, then yes, they will stop you and most likely do a FST. I have never carried paper registration with me, just my insurance card in my wallet. The current reg STICKER is an absolute must, they WILL stop you if it's not visible as well. Basically, just read over those rules that ban99 posted, don't be stupid, follow the rules, and you'll have an awesome time. Also, riding with a 6-pack rack will make you a target for sure.
  20. High 70's to low 80's during the day, drops down into the mid 50's at night... Damn near perfect...
  21. There are TONS of places on your way out there to stop and get premix. If you're flying into Lindbergh, I'm assuming you will be going out the 8. There's probably about 10 places to stop before you even get out of San Diego. But like 350x said, if you have a cheap place to get it where you're at, just throw it in with your bike, on the rig so you don't have to mess with it. The city of Brawley is about 30 minutes from glamis, and is the closest city to buy beer/food/gas... whatever you need. There is a walmart there, several grocery stores, etc. You'll definitely be fine with your mods. You have about the same mods as most people who ride out there. I ran stock sprockets out there and was just fine. Definitely bring some jets with you, though.
