  1. I heard SLORYDER can do the porting for you.
  2. I would buy one. Give Tim at Stellar a call. He is a site sponsor on here, and can make you just about any style and size swingarm you want. He is the best in the business. 520-481-6946
  3. Yes you can. After looking at the close up pictures of the lights, I'm not sure what kind of bulb they use. At first it looks like a generic MR16 bulb, but it also looks like it could be an H3 bulb, with a permanent reflector. I would take them apart and see if you can find out what kind of bulb they use.
  4. You want low and wide. I would run +2 +1 a arms, with either 300ex shocks, or some shorter Marvin Shaws. The reason I say shaws for flat track, is they are air shocks. If your track is all left turns, you can bump up the nitrogen pressure in your right front shock to make that one stiffer. Or for a right turn track, bump up the nitrogen in the left front for the same effect. In the rear, the R6 shock is a common mod for flat track guys, or simply a lowering link with the stock Banshee rear. Also, you might want to consider going with a -1 or -2 swinger for more traction, depending on what surface you are racing on. I know the ice and dirt circle track racing guys like the shorter swingers. Stock would probably be fine for asphalt. Usually no traction issues on the black stuff!
  5. Stock front shocks are not rebuildable, unfortunately. As the previous poster said, you can pick up a good set of used Works shocks for around $250-$300. There are deals to be had on eBay, frequently. If you find some on ebay that catch your attention, send me a PM with the link, and I will do my best to check them out for you. There have been TONS of junk shocks being sold on eBay lately, that are beyond repair. If you find any for less than $200, there is a reason they are so cheap. I would look for a set of Dual Rate, stock length Works Performance shocks. Stock length shocks are 14.75" Eye to Eye. I wouldn't run YFZ450 shocks on stock a-arms. You will lose a little bit of up travel, and they are about an inch and a half too long to fit the stock a-arms. If you're on a really tight budget, contact NYUK on here, and see if he has any good condition stock Banshee shocks. They usually sell for $60-$100 a pair. Sometimes less.
  6. Just wondering why there was a pattern. I though como was supposed to be random? I'll leave this alone. He's obviously upset.
  7. Wow, didn't know it was a sore subject. Sorry dude. Last time I asked about it, you avoided the question so I figured since you posted the pictures again, I'd ask again. I apologize if it somehow upset you that I asked about the pattern on your plastics. I will never do it again.
  8. Shayne, I will stab you in the eye with a spoon.
  9. Higher octane burns slower...
  10. This guy is from Texas... Not California. IP's don't lie. Anywho, I have some friends out there right now, VP C12 is in stock at Sweet Maries in 5 gallon cans. Crazy Kevins should be stocking F&L, Sunoco, and VP as well... Also, every Off Road Warehouse in San Diego county, or Temecula will sell you any kind of VP you want. No form needed. Confirmed also today. "Technically" they're not supposed to sell it to you unless you're going to a sanctioned race, yes. But no one here has ever had a problem buying race fuel. The guy I talked to at ORW today had no clue what I was talking about regarding the limitation on the sale of race fuel. I still pull up to the pump with my boat and fill up on the way to Havasu. It's still available at the pumps in Brawley as well. Nothing has changed in about 10 years, so no worries. Sorry to hear about your dad, dude. Some things are more important than riding.
  11. Just confirmed, VP c12 is in stock at Sweet Maries in 5gal cans. No guarantees that they will have any left on Presidents, but they do have it as I type this. I have several friends that are out there right now and I just spoke to my buddy who bought 20 gallons from Sweet Marie's today. Have fun homie!
  12. Hey snop, are my eyes deceiving me or do I see a pattern?
  13. Okay, I've gotten several messages about these shocks, and whether or not they are a good deal. Yes they are a good deal. Here's the thing, though, Craig. You need to be more specific in your description. They were built for a 200-225lb rider on +3 arms on a BLASTER. They were not built for a Banshee, but would work well for a heavy rider, 220+. $300 for these shocks is a good deal, so someone please buy them so I can stop answering the same questions over and over, lol.
  14. I have no experience with Eyeball, but where are you finding them for $665? Their website has them for $749.
  15. LMAO! Just saw this... I want to see a video of this... Then the Coroner's declaration of death.
  16. 9 bucks shipped. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SWINGARM-BEARINGS-KIT-BANSHEE-BLASTER-WARRIOR-RAPTOR-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem4cf211630aQQitemZ330478740234QQptZMotorsQ5fATVQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories
  17. I know this might make some people wait to send me their shocks, but figured I'd announce some pricing changes. Effective March 1, 2011, all NON reservoir rebuilds will be $50 each, and revalves will be $60 each. (That's $15 off each service.) The only thing going UP in price is the following: I also can no longer offer free shipping on services. The reason for this is, by the time I buy boxes, packing materials, and actually pay for shipping, it costs me sometimes over $20 for ground shipping. Shipping will only be $5 to the lower 48, and only $15 to Canada. The small charge will go to to help offset the cost of the boxes, and packing materials, so I can avoid a blanket price increase. I hope everyone understands why I have to charge a small fee for shipping. In order for me to stay competitive in this business things sometimes have to change. I constantly monitor competitors prices, and know that my prices are still the most affordable around. If you find someone cheaper, let me know, and I'll see if I can match it. Also, new on the services list is the shortening of the YFZ450 shocks for use on stock Banshee arms. I can shorten your YFZ shocks up to 1" for a price of $35 each. That includes oil, nitrogen, and return shipping. No other hidden fees in there, other than the small shipping charge. I have always taken great pride in my work, and I think it shows in the results that come out of my shop. We also have a new phone number (951) 77-SoCal. Someone is not ALWAYS available to answer the phone. I also have hired a guy that I used to work with back in the day that has IMMENSE knowledge of dirt bike suspension, and lots of MX experience. He will be doing a good amount of my disassembly and cleaning, to hopefully help me expedite my turn around times. Things have been VERY BUSY around here, and we look forward to growing and are considering several rider sponsorships at this time. Thanks for everyone being so loyal and I look forward to seeing all you guys at LS in October! Oh, BTW... Go Steelers!
  18. You wouldn't have to do it yourself. I'll meet you at the state line.
  19. I tried emailing you back from the email you sent me on my website, but it came back to me undeliverable.
  20. Haha, knew this was coming. Anywho... I would get OEM, laker, fullbore, or fast fibers. The last two sets of maier's that my buddy bought were awful. The holes sometimes were over an inch off. Their quality is terrible, and frankly, any company that makes raptor plastics for a banshee should be put out of business...
  21. I just give you credit for sporting a pink and purple banshee. In all seriousness, send a PM to NYUK. He probably has 4 or 5 dozen arms laying around that he'll sell for pennies. (Tell him I said so )
  22. LOL, I'm not going to argue with you, but Sweet Marie's is a Sunoco distributor.
  23. Not true, at all... Anyways, I'm 99.99% sure you can buy it out at vendors, or sweet maries has race gas.
