  1. i have used millenuim technology for my ktm sx200 a few yrs ago and it was a good deal and also my dad has a dealer license so we got hooked up, i also double checked all the clearences for the pistom just out of curiousity and everything was perfect i would highly recomend them turnaround time was about 10 days
  2. true on the traction part, i just got smoked by a 02 wrx today with a few bolt ons and i have a nordic stage 3 saab 93 turbo with about 330 340 hp and all i did was ruin my tires , i guess its guna take lots of money to put a spankin on a yfz soo wish me luck and im sure guna give jeff at fast a call soon
  3. looks nice nd clean, and im liking the white , o ya thosw wheels looks good on it , best of all ur rockin old school toomeys on 06 , IS THAT A REAL DEAR IN THE BACKGROUND LOL
  4. we mostly ride trails and im worried about straight line racing, ive been riding since i was 7 and this his his first quad and he started riding dbikes 2 years ago, so im not worryed about him on a track just because he doesnt know how to handle that much power, im planning on sending my cylinder out to get ported and honed, i just compression tested bith side on warm motor at 115 psi, i really dont want to spend another 200$ on pistons so i might just hone and new rings and wristpin bearings and such , what do you guys think should i be fine doing that, i really cant spend much money because i want a new car soon
  5. well the timing plate seem to fit the budget but i dont want to take out the reliability of my engine, and if pull the jugs off i mite as well pull the crank out to and get it trued and welded , would a timing plate and maybe some boyesn reeds make a big difference or what? who would mill a head for me and how much would it cost? its lookin like i might have to start savin
  6. hey guys i got a 1992 banshee with t5s and k&n and my friends goin to buy a yfz 450 and i know hes guna run his mouth that its faster and i hate people like that lol , his bikes guna be built, i thinks its got cams and hi comp piston, what should my next mods be so i can smoke his ass and shut him the F**K up, i know im a better rider so il smoke him on a track all day
  7. i would only use quality oil, like amsoil dominator, or any klotz brand, if you skimp on the quality oil it will only hurt you in the long run, i run amsoil dominator at 40:1
  8. ya you can get away with the stock pilots, mine always started and ran good but i recently switched to 27.5 with t5s rmatv sells them
  9. Well most aftermarket pipes need 27.5 or even 30 pilots, for mains you should start rich and work you way down. Start with 330 mains and see how it runs if it sputters before the powerband go down one and see how it runs then do a plug chop, o ya what is your temp
  10. I would start by ruling out the obvious by just holding your hand over just about everything on the quad especially the kickstarter those always wear and start to rattle, does it sound like a knock or rattle?
  11. average compression should be about 120 125, beware of worn bearing all around, get on the quad and rock it back and forth and see whats loose, check ball joints and all pivot points, wheel bearings axle bearings, check for a worn chain and stripped axle adjusters, check the brakes, worn tires, check to see if the air filter is dirty and make surre there is oil in the tranny, o ya and check to see if the chain ever slapped the case above the front sprocket by inspecting for cracks, all these could be use to get him down on the price

    Rev Box

me personally no i still have a stocker but dynatech fs is good my buddy runs one
  13. ya 1500 to 1800 sounbd like a good price, in connecticut they seem to hold their value more i cant find one for less than 1800 even an 87 bone stock
  14. damn 1500 bucks for a port job lol ya he got ripped off maybe he ment 150 but itb looks good try to talk him down
  15. if your tors is still on disconnect the little black box under the gas tank on the left side, i had the same problem just unplug and boom there was spark
  16. i would def. get in there and check those jets out, and you said you mostly stock too so maybe your pilot jet is too big, does it spuuter or bogs anywhere in the rpm range
  17. its most likely your neelde and seat valve that is controlled by the floats, when the floats rise it closes the valve so it can be 2 things the rubber on the neelde is worn or your floats are sticking, it is both carbs or just one?
  18. a good starting point would be 27.5 pilot jets needle should be fine and maybe 290 or 300 mains depending on your temp and altitude, alot of people say to ditch the boost bottle but i got one on my bike when i bought it but if i have the chance to grab a stock x over tube i would. you can get jets at your local dealer or i just got jets from rmatv.com they have the pilots too, when you order them they are banshee specific
  19. Damn 13 your a lucky kid to have a banshee, and i like the fact that you want to learn to work on it so you dont have to bring it to the dealer everytime it breaks, you also came to the right place for EVERYTHING about banshees, just read everything carefully and by no time youll be a pro at tuning your own bike, goodluck
  20. Now thats funny. The story and the advice
  21. Besides the point, the first well worth the money mod is pipes, look around you can find a good deal on pipes that fit you riding style if yours are stock, stock bikes are more fun to me because you get to mod them the way you want to
  22. yes i have heard of people doing this but not on stockys. I wouldnt say any big power gains but it might sound alot better or louder,
  23. thats seems like a decent trade .40 over means 40 thousanths of an inch which it was bored because the cylinder walls got worn , that it normal for all engines, it requires cutting the bore over to eliminate imperfections that the piston left some people say you can bore up to .100, i wouldt go over .80 or the cylinder walls get weak and tend to run hotter. stock jugs are easy to come by anyway, you can always go big bore
  24. hey instead of getting rid of it have you thought about relocating it , i put mine on the gas tank cober and drilled a hole so its near the 2 fins on the cover, just a thought , good luck
  25. when you take the kickstart shaft out you shoud see a gear with kinda a lip on it, itgoes on that gear with the niple facing the out toward the engine when your installing it , you should see a slot on the engine case , slide it into that, thats what holds the gear from slipping out when its engaged , make sure to look around for the old broken clip. THIS ONES OFF OF A BLASTER BUT ITS THE SAME CONCEPT TO PUTTING IT ON, THE PART I HIGHLIGTED RED IS WERE THE GROOVE FOR THE CLIIP IS
