  1. ok i moddedy stock airbox lid by cutting out the divider and the slots that take the air from the back , with the 310 mains it runs perfect i mean perfect no sputtering at all, and im ready to get some new plugs, what do you think about bead blasting them to clean them? i have a glass sander so it makes them come out like brand new, im still going to buy new ones tho
  2. ok the sputter goes away when the lid is off with the 310 mains, it never did that with the 300s but im going to try and cut alittle away on the box lid and see how it runs, and im deff going to do a plug chop very soon , wheres the best place o buy sparkplugs, my dealer wants 4 bucks a pop, i know there is somewhere where you can buy a whole box for that price, o ya who makes a good tors removal kit?
  3. ok im back again, i just installed 310 mains , i left the pilots stock and 1/2 turn out on the air screws, my mods are t5s, k&n filter boost bottle , and no snorkle, it runs good but right at wot before it hits the powerband it sputters for a few secs then takes off real strong , im going to take the filter lid off and see if it gets better, what could be the cause ?
  4. i only use 93 in my quad but i read the back of the castor 927 and it said to use their octane booster to help from not separating in the cold weather, but im goin to the dealer to get oil stabilizer
  5. i went to order graphics for my shee and when i irder them it only selects years 97-06 what are the diiference between them , i have a 92 so why wouldnt they fit?

  7. the bike likes the air screws at 3/4 out and no i need to get it at the dealer unless i can use regul;ar fuel stabilzer
  8. can ou use any type of octane booster to stop the gas from separating from the oil, i read the info on the back of a bottle of castor 927 and it says to use maxima hi test which im pretty sure is octane booster, i reall doont wana drive back down to the dealer
  9. hey i just threw in 310 ns and it smoke a lot more than it used to , it runs great but it never used to smoke that much

    i always check craiglist you always find some good deals on bikes that dont run, in ct blasters go for about 500 - 700 buck running

  12. im in ct and it isbout 25 to 40 degrees, im goin to the dealer on monday and getting 310 mains, im going to screw the air screw in all the way and back off 1/2 turn, im using 927, 32 to 1 , do u think the needles shoulod be fine? my dealer has to order the 27.5 pilots so im just guna adjust for the 25 pilots
  13. hey guys i just got a set of t5s and i need to know where to start on the jetting so i dont blow it up this winter, im running t5s, k and n filer, no snorkel, boost bootle and thats about it , im about 500 feet above sea level, the specs for the carbs are 300 mains 25 pilots about 1 turn outon the air screws, should i leave the pilots stock, or jump up to a 27.5 , wat needle position should it be set at , im going to thro a 310 main in there for the winter, the bikes good on the settings its on but a few say it might be lean and i know LEAN IS BAD any help would be appreciated

  15. look around for used stuff, i got a crap load of stuff off craigslist for dirt cheap , buy a set of rusted old pipes for cheap, pay for the sand blasting and paint those suckers with high heat i think black looks good chome looks crappy after a year or too, for a grand you should be able to do some nice mods, pipes is a must before anything else, a good set of pipes can give you another 7 or 8 hp
  16. depends on how much money you want to spend , get a set of pipes first toomey t5s is what i run and wow what a difference, pro circuit i heard are good for woods too, get a k&N PRO FLOW KIT and jet the carbs you will be very happy if you pick up the toomey t5s, i wouldnt spend alot on reeds there pieces of plastic for gods sake, i would pick up boyesen cuz there affordable and pretty easy to install, adjustable timing plate would be a nice investment too, thats guna be my next thing and run it advanced +4, just read around the site and learn, there are soo many banshee freaks who know alot more than me but i learned alot from this site
  17. i would start by taking the clutch cover off and checking the clip that hold the kicker gear mine broke and got locked up between the clutch basket and the kicker would not move, try rolling the quad in gear and see if it turns over
  18. i was thinking about running wires from the headlights and putting colored lights behind the grill for night riding, lol it might be a stupid idea butim sure itll look cool has anyone run other light off the headlights, im wooryed not enuff power to run more lights

  20. i put it all together with 300 mains , 25 pilots and 1 1/4 out on the air screw, it runs awsome , do u think i shoud junk the boost bottle and find a stock x over tube, what about my mixture 32 to 1 should i use less oil to richen it up a tad for the cold weather
  21. o no thats the stock pipes and dg silencers i show u pics of the work tomoro but 310s really that seems big what about the pilots should i keep those stock , il get a set of 300s and 310s and see what happens

  23. can someone tell me what kind of a arms these are, i need the hardware to put them on and i need to know what these are please, and if someone has hardware for them will buy them off you
  24. thats the exact paint i used but i used whit primer and black paint, it came out really good i also have painting experience, i had to cut off about 2 inches off the muffler ends that meet the pipe, they are the same size and dont slide in , im just goin to clamp them with a rubber seal and hose clamps it looks like its going to work , but its alittle half assed loluntil i can find a right toomey muffler it kills to sit there and see the left one but no right one o ya what jets should i runs toomey recomends 280s im guna thro in 290s all i got done is pipes and a pro flow kit with a k&n filter, should i leave the pilots alone , its also about 40 degrees right now and i wana ride in the snow, im close to the shore less than 500ft above sea level
