  3. do you have an extended thumb throttle? if not then you definitely need to invest in one. well worth every penny
  4. there is alot of good racing up there but not many big fast bikes. a damn good time though thats for sure. it would be worth the trip on a holiday weekend for sure
  5. If u r looking for local in Norther CA then look up McCoy's performance. He is in the Sacramento area and is a great builder. Although not a site sponsor.
  6. having an un-ported cub myself I can tell you it runs hard no matter which way you look at it and you have lots of room to expand and improve on it. that being said i have been beaten by 2 and possibly a 3rd stock cylinder bikes (to the best of my knowledge) one of them was resleeved to a 68 bore same size as a cub and he just beat me by a a small amount maybe 2 bikes at the top of the hill. (i hillshoot) then the other two bikes beat the crap out of me but one was a full out drag bike, the other which i was told was a stock cylinder by a third person so im not positive, was just damn fast. but when i port mine this winter you can be damn sure i will race those bikes again and hand them their ass.
  7. Herr jugs is down in San Diego I believe!

  9. how would u get gas in the case? it should be sealed, at least i hope.

  11. sand mountain, nv is tons of fun. as far as the whole riding area goes, it may not be as big as others but its still fun. and the drag hill is a blast
  12. first step, stay away from trinity they suck. second, go with one of the site sponsors they will get u everything u need
  13. i want to try out this +8 swingarm i have

  14. Sorry I didn't explain well. I do it with out trying whether I want to or not and sitting on the tank.
  15. I have the opposite problem on pavement. Slow or fast all the way up into 5th mine wont stay down. I guess that's what a 4 mill cub on a stock swingarm will do.
  16. wow when i was your age i wasnt riding shit because my family didnt have the money to buy things like that. so be happy with what you have. kids these days
  17. i dont have a stock motor though. i have a 421 cub

  19. wow! ok thanks man. i already have the clip all the way down and still need more so a new needle seems to be my next option. thanks for all that info though i really appreciate the detail.
  20. buying a built one would be cheaper cause you can never get what you put into these things back out of them. but building your own you know everything about the bike and know that the only abuse it has seen is from you. which i think is more rewarding
  21. thanks for that. anybody else know where i can get these???
  22. So I am needing some fatter needles for my stock carbs, but I do not know where to go about getting some. Can somebody point me in the right direction please??? Also what is the actual model name or number for these carbs? I know they are 26mm but I would like to know specifically what they are called. Thanks for any help
