Who did your port work? Also, make sure to eliminate the gremlins like improper jetting and slipping clutch...

Do yourself a favor and go roundhouse carrier!

I would NEVER consider operating ANY atv with "swingarm extensions".

Its a general rule of thumb..... there are-however-exceptions. As for a stock cylinder, I don't think you could move enough volume of air to warrant big bore pipes usefull. Why are you sticking with stock cylinders? If stock cylinders are your top choice, I would not run 68mm bore on them. While you DO increase in displacement (68mm X 58mm) 421 vs. (65mm X 58mm) 385cc... not even close to 411cc by the way... the larger sleeves push into the transfer ports and coolant passages. IMO, you'd probably make more reliable power just having them drag ported by a reputable builder. If fast is your goal, it comes down to WAY more than the size of your motor. The secret to hard running motors is the entire setup. All the engine components must be designed to work with each other. From there, spot on fuel and ignition tuning.... and this is just the engine. The chassis, suspension, tire selection, gear selection, clutch setup, ect must all be selected to compliment the motor's power AND your riding style. Each of those areas can be tuned as well. But the most important piece of advice I have to stress is USE QUALITY PARTS and take your time building everything right.... double checking all tolorances and measurements. The only way to win a race is to make it down the track! Fixing your machine all the time is embarassing, costs you races, gets expensive, is time consuming, and the end result is usually a bad attitude. Good luck with the research and poke around. If you're only interested in stock cylinders for the "stock appearance" try searching the "Wampus" line of aftermarket cylinders from CP industries. It is very similar to cub cylinder specs with the outer appearance of stock cylinders. -
That lil guy reminds me of the banana flasher....

how good are K&T motors?

But then Sniper pipes came and changed his opinion. -
That'd be an epic lombardi slap...

How'd I miss this thread? Hmmmm.... If you had two peckers... would you prefer them to be positioned side by side or over/under?

I believe it. Its not hard to get them singles upwards of 1000cc. I used to have one that was 1450cc..... and it was turbocharged, had nitrous, 4 spark plugs and other cool stuff. I used to race it against jet cars and top fuel dragsters. It was so fast I had to sell it on craigslist just like this guy.

Depending on your skill level you can run easy events like the Middleton ride or push your limits in Trempealeau. Black River Falls offers some public riding but its crowded. There's a ton of public trails in northern wisconsin. If you're into racing (poker runs and hair scrambles) we have a few events you can enter here in Wisconsin too.

94fag is upset because he lost the paypal dispute (actually, his mom lost her paypal dispute) so instead of admitting defeat he has to pull up other threads and beg other guys to go after dan. Give it up man. Your posts either root to a variation of calling someone gay or you spew the word scammer without ACTUALLY proving it. So far, the only evidence you have against your claim is that YOU said so where as Dan has pictures, videos, a paypal claim siding with him, and the fact that you admitted to sending him the wrong tank to begin with. No wait, that was your dad. haha
-
...so I should side with a member who has made fifty immature generalized "spammer" accusation posts over a guy who posted pictures? The video was clear to me. I see the tank, I see the water. Sounds like you're going to keep demanding more until it is unreasonable for dan to meet your request, then you use that opportunity to shout "See! Scammer!" As I said kid, I call them as I see them. I see Dan posting vids of a faulty tank after you (actually your dad lol) sent him the wrong tank to begin with. A shady transaction here by both parties and your terrible business attitude has turned me off of every doing business with you. But, you'll just make a new user name like the others before you and fuck over some other unsuspecting member. (by the way, due to dan's previous record I wouldn't consider business with him either)

I seen a video of said tank leaking water. I call it as I see it.
-
Just step back a moment.... How would you feel if you purchased a large capacity fuel tank and recieved a stock one? Then you recieved a large capacity tank only to find out it leaks? Would you feel ripped off?
-
That just tells me you're really bad at being a scammer....

2 stoke hp vs 4 stroke hp
gotta_goatsfast replied to dunner250's topic in General Banshee Discussion
At this horsepower level, I would agree. However, the previous quoted "100hp" level is quite different. A YFZ 450 built to the tune of 100 hp will have a fairly wild powerband mimicking a 2 stroke in that the motor will not produce significant torque until the mid-upper rpm range. As motor design goes, (and as previously stated) the banshee motor provides one powerstroke every 180 degrees vs a single 4 stroke at 720 degrees. In sand where the tires are already spinning it may not matter, but on asphault or where we desire the tire to hold traction, a smoother power delivery will provide more traction than an irratic powerful pulse to the tire. For instance, a small displacement 4 cylinder motorcycle feels much more "planted" when leaning heavy and on the throttle than a big twin. If you ever drive a ducati for instance, you'll feel each powerstroke bite into the ground (and may start a loss of traction). Anyway, will all of this matter? Absolutely not. 100hp vs. 100hp the race will be determined by the operator (and how well he knows his machine) and the rest of the ATV's setup. -
Holy shit 94fagshee got owned. "That was awesome!"

I'll suck your mommies tits for sure.

Dont forget your suspension. I wouldn't want to run a serval with stockish suspension.
-
Why don't you run the long tubes and pipe under the truck and bring it back up through the bed? You're leaving a lot of power on the table by running block huggers vs. a tuned long tube header. It would also be quieter than either open headers.

I gotta make a trip out there one day. Why was this land closed to begin with? -
Food for thought... T6s do not respond as well to porting as most other pipes do. I know your cylinders aren't ported, but the power pistons will alter the port timings (a crude way to simulate certain aspects of professional port work).
