  1. well,,thats what i thought to,,but i talked to the guy i got it from and he said that when he orderd the toomey kit he was givin a number to call when he started setting it up and that was the jet that some guy from toomey told him,,,idk,,,im going by what he said,,,but now that i changed fromn the t5s to fmf why would i need to go back to the same set up,,,,i also think i need to do away with my reed spacers?????????,,,thanx again for all the help
  2. yeah i done had the issue with the slipping clutch,,as of right now im looking for some good 330 to 350 jets to up the fuel that it is starving for,, is any name brand jet good for banshee or should i look for one inporticular
  3. my original problem was the carbs was out of sync and the jetting was to small,,,and i dont think it is the riders,,cause we can switch shee's and its the same outcome,,,so ur saying junk the factory carbs and get pwks,,i was thinking of getting a noss or cool head but was not sure wat to do since i had already had my head shaved,,thanx for the info
  4. as i was saysing, even when i had the t5s he could smoke me down on his,,now with fattys i can stay side by side with him until bout mid ways through 6th then his starts pulling like a train from me
  5. i had t5's on it and but it feels that it has more power with fattys
  6. he must just be lucky cause he has had them on there for a few years now and that thing is stupid fast,,he says its all in the port job
  7. thanx for the extremly fas no,,lol,,i was just wondering cause i have a buddy that has a shee and the only diferrence between mine and his is mine is 60 over and his is 80,and he uses stock reeds and the pips,,which i have fmf,,and he has dmc 916's
  8. first off id like to thanks to everyone that helped me get my baby lined out,,,but im already wanting more,,,but i dont want to split the case again. i was wondering if going to 80 over would help me any at all,,,as for now it is 60 over, ported, head shaved, v-force 3 reeds,adjustable timing plate set to +4, uni filter w/o lid,,and fmf gold fattys and powercore 2 silencers

  10. sorry it took so long to get back,,,i work out of town,,,but no i havent done a leakdown test but i will check my boots and gaskets,,,thanx for ur help,,,i greatly apreciate it
  11. ok,,sorry bout the lack of info,,my shee would not idle but i found the problem to that,,it was the switch in the thumb throttle,,,but i still have to choke it to get the right side to take fuel,,it is real sluggesh when u first hit the gas,,but once u get it to open,,it hang on,,,its almost like it is not getting the fuel the left side is until your about a quarter throttle. it is 60 over, ported, head shaved carbon fiber v-force reeds, reed spacers,,all toomey jets and and needles,,timing set to 4+,,jets are 270 and im at 1480 elevation,,, thanx for all and any help
  12. ok,,,sorry bout the lack of info,,, my shee was not idleing or taking fuel good i have to choke it to get the right side to take the fuel
  13. ok guys,,, iv done almost everything i could think of to try and get this thing to take fuel good,,but im still having to choke it then i can let it rip,,, but it will idle now,,,it was that little switch in the thumb throttle that runs the tops but all thats gone now
  14. hey thanx for the info,,,im not sure what the pilots are,,but i do know that the came with the toomey pipes and air filter kit,,,the guy i got it from said he put all toomey needles and jets from the kit but i haven checked them,,but i did check the mains and they are 270's,, ok,, my elevaitoin is 1480, fmf gold fatty's, toomey air filter w/o lid carbon fiber reeds and reed spacer adjustible timing plate set at 4+,cut 60 over and the head is cut 30,not sure of the name of the guy who done the porting but i will get his number from my bud they took them and picked them up for me,,thenx again for the help
  15. Ok. My banshee is 60 over, carbon fiber reeds, it has been ported the head has been shaved, it had the toomey t5's and the jet kit and air filter that came with the kit... it had the kit on it since it was stock and then 40 over and ported, since I had it cut to 60 and change the pipes it boges when u first hit the go fast lever and u have to pump the choke for a while to even get it to run on both side....what can I do....please help
