Real men ride a Banshee where ever the fuck they want , no trailer Queen here . Besides the fact they can throw mud farther than all others. For about $20 you can buy a big old piece of outerware material and make your own.

Fuel cap vent? Check carbvents for mud dauber wasp plug.

If you cut the nipples off, how will you plug the holes? The pvc caps fit right into the nipples. Cheaper and easier than getting a crossover tube.

Ding Ding Ding!! You win the prize!! The ONLY thing that cools a 2s piston is the incoming fuel charge, and a slight amount from cyl conntact. A 4s has that and half as many powerstrokes and oil from crankcase. If you ever tear a 2s down look at the underside of the piston, you will see carbonized oil on it. As to the coolers, the ones on my son's are small enough that I can't fit my little finger in them.

Checked flywheel key? Stator poles clean? Timing lugs on outside of f-wheel? Set pick-up gap? tried new plugs? Plug boots ohm good? Flywheel don't rattle?

Different beast I would think, apples and oranges.

On my son's with stock boots, they had slight cracking but not torn, I used 1/2" pvc caps that fit into holes, put threebond in boots and clamps around them. IF you don't think it will seal correctly get new boots. As far as how it runs I notice no difference. Many set-ups don't run any crossover tube, not needed.

So what do you think it's worth??

Welcome to BHQ !! Nice looking ride! First off you shouldn't idle any more than it takes to warm it up. What plugs, kind of oil and mix ratio are you running? Might try adjusting air screws a touch.

I think they fall right in line behind the boost bottle. My son's has them on both hoses, bought that way. IMO, other than a billit pump gear you've done about all you can do except making sure it's jetted right.
