  1. Above all don't hook up tors box. If you have the carb caps it shouldn't be on your bike anyhow. Work from stator out ohming everything, clean and di-electric grease on ALL connections and all grounds, check all switches, ohm plug caps, trim1/4" off plug wires for clean connection.
  2. If it were me I'd use new as you may damage them removing. Regardless use 3bond, yammabond, or simular sealant. I would not use silicone. JMHO your results may and will vary.
  3. Or you can do like P O did and use a Presidential solution and weld the washer to the shaft N F C how I'll ever fix that properly when the time comes X-2 on proper fix.
  4. Wouldn't you notice the loss of power before it melted? Or proves the saying "They run the best just before they blow up"
  5. 14/40 is stock. It will depend on conditions and power delivery. If you get it, it won't take much to decide if it's good or either needs geared up or down. BTW, Welcome to BHQ !! Also looks good, sounds normal, price seems reasonable.
  6. Good tires and gearing, don't build a drag motor and they're lots of fun in the trails.
  7. Set it up on something so you can check the front suspension for any thing loose. Then do the same for rear swingarm and axle. If you find anything use it to beat up on price. Take a comp gauge to check engine. You didn't mention about front shocks with the extended arms? Be sure the frame isn't bent/twisted. Ride it , trans and brakes work properly?
  8. A crank will cost 350+/-, gaskets, etc. Unless the rest is prime condition might think about getting one that doesn't need work. If the engine is apart where you can inspect it check the cyls good Let us know and post some pics
  9. From what I've gathered the 4x156 rear used a 10" rim. Pick up some hubs and keep your new wheels. Banshee, Warrior, Craptor, YFZ450 are same and YFZ450R fit but are offset a bit wider.
  10. Then why woul FAST sell steel bushings?
  11. Got any old wires from a vehical laying around? cut them down and use them. Steal some from the pick+ pull
  12. Rattle Can Ray strikes again !!
  13. You can spend a boat load of money on a PV set-up and you still won't have the type of power delivery you're talkin about (IMO) . Put a set of low/mid reeds, ported cages, up the compression. Spend the money on suspension.
  14. Just trying to hit all the bases. Do you plan on getting a leaner needle?
  15. X-2, wait til you get your work done to see how it runs with them. Don't forget to re-jet after the work.
  16. Don't be so fucking cheep. You got 60,000+ volts, you think a little tape will stop it?
  17. Just take core out, not whole stem. If you have shop vac rig up a hose that will fit over stem and suck as much out as possibil, will take several tries. then maybe leave it in front of a heater/ strong lamp and evaporate the rest.
  18. Presume different plug caps with different coil? Have you tried a different cdi ? Do you have any other carbs to try? Are the slides sloppy in the carbs? Were the carbs off a snomo by chance?
  19. That's what I was thinking. I got 1800' of dirt road in front plus drives on the farm if you want to bring it to Ortonville. Bring all your jets and some new plugs. Probably couldn't help with a stator cause Larry's is round plug , but can use coil. PM if interested
  20. yes on the kit. Thanks to Jereme on the How To. I use a small piece of clear tube to drain fluid in something as I bleed as it will take paint off. Also allows me to see air bubbles as I do it. Be aware it will take about 20+ times of pump, hold, crack, repete.
  21. Might as well sell me those pipes
  22. In the race card game that right there looks like a full house.
  23. Always start on the fat side, plugs are cheaper than pistons. You have to do a little research to learn about the process, even the Clmers manual has a section and a good diagram showing which circut affects which throttle opening. You could have two supposedly identical banshees sitting side by side and they might tune slightly different. Read that stickied thread "What jets are you running" Find a set-up simular and use it as starting point. My set-up: Unported 4mil, head spacer, FMF golds, +4 timing key. 310, 27.5 , 3rd notch, 1 1/2 turns. 900' , 80 *f
  24. Have you actually tried bleeding them? Do you know how? Looks like the resi in the picture is empty.
  25. Open bowl drains and drain the last little bit out.
