Yeah I recommend Skat-Trak haulers..... If your wanting longer gears you could try one tooth larger in the front sprocket. the stock is a 14 tooth, so try a 15. You will have to adjust your chain of course.
I live about 75 minutes from Little Sahara Dunes in Utah. And a few hours from St. Anthony's Dunes in Idaho. If your ever out this way, they are both a blast and fun to ride. Little Sahara has "Sand Mountain" and thats always a good time
I'm running stock carbs with a Wildcard Aggressive Dune Port and my bike rips hard as hell......IMO stay with the duels and spend your money on a good port job!
From what I've heard stock carbs are good up too like 65-70HP.
If I remember right "Snopczynski" knows alot about doing the conversion. PM him.
I think you have to do a complete battery set up, and different stator.
I did sales and service for a tire shop for 5 years and IMHO, I think you need to ditch that wheel. Grab another stock ford aluminum 8lug online or locally. I've seen aluminum wheels do that before and safety wise, I wouldn't take a chance running it.
