  3. While you have the crank handy check the up and down play of the rod at the bottom of the stroke too.
  4. LOL when banshees wear out they tend to jump your wallet really fast. At least you got into it before anything exploded.
  5. Try making sure your electrical system is good,did you do a psi test? Weak spark can do that.
  6. Having to roll start a banshee does not mean you need a rebuild,yes low compression is one issue that can cause it but by far is not the only one. I have personaly seen all these issues cause hard starting on bikes with good top ends. Dirty carbs/choke tube/dirty air filter/fouled plugs that still fire/bad grounds/weak stator/coil gap/spark plug cap/old gas/bad conecttion in the wiring/weak spark wich can be caused in 10 different places/poor jetting ect/wet air filter/over oiled air filter. The very first thing i do when a banshee is hard to start,unless there is obviously a psi issue, is make sure the air filter isnt saturated,and try a fresh set of plugs even if the ones in it sill spark-and unplug the tors. If your psi is over 110 in both cylinders and is within 5 psi of eachother i would be looking in other places for your problem. Even without a psi test if the kick feels pretty solid i would try some new plugs.

  8. I could actualy add a little to the trinity thread,but nothing thats posted in that threat is going to make the trinity domes run bad. Basicaly what im trying to tell this dude is that the trinity head works fine and i personally wouldnt spend 50 to 60 bucks more just to have a different brand name on the head. If i had to buy a cool head,i would go with noss,if i already had a trinity,i would keep it.
  9. Cpi small bore in frames. Cpi's will give you a lot of top but retain a lot of the midrange. As for carbs maybe some 28-33mm's
  10. Depends on your porting. If your ported for top end i would say cpi's would be good with some 28mil carbs,if your ported for low mid i would say a single 33 or 35 mm carb and fmf gnarlies or pro circuits.
  11. Whats wrong with the trinity domes,My banshee made 81 rwhp with trinity domes. 165psi per side 13deg/.042 squish running vp 110. 18 or 19cc domes if i remember correctly. Not that i dont believe you,but if there is something bad about the domes i would like to know.
  12. The week spot in the heims that i saw was where the pin goes into the spindle. The full flights i saw break were at that spot,it wasnt even a big jump either.
  13. If the choke makes your idle better that could just be to small of a pilot,among other things

  15. Dont waste your money,there are used sets and discounted burgards and asr on ebay all the time. Full flights come with really flimsy heims. I have seen sets if them where they were uneven,like they didnt put them together right. The set i had got scratched up during instalation. My buddy broke a cheap heim at silver lake with a set of full flights and broke his leg. I really hate the heims.They freeze up,get dirty ect. The stock full flight heims,had play in them after 1 2hr ride. If you bought the full flights and then the upgraded heims from amstarmanufacturing you would be safe but a that point you could have bought a set of nicer arms.
  16. I have ran a few trinity stage 4 heads and have had zero problems out of any of them. You can buy domes from trinity racing. I am weary of ordering anything from them,but if all i needed was a set of domes,i wouldnt hesitate. I would never buy another head just to get away from a trinity,they work well.
  17. You can get the domes from trinity. The stage 4 head is a great product from a bad company
  18. There is a whole exhaust/jetting section But anyhow i prefer fmf gnarlies for low mid/cpi inframes for top end
  19. Well i dont want to start drama on here but i had a VERY bad experience. Some people have had good luck,i did not. I actualy sent the cylinders around to a couple people and they were in disbelief. Cylinders had different durations and everything
  20. I switched from a dynoport to fmf gnarlies and it was like a whole new bike.
