  1. compression test and leak down then check the sync on the carbs. have you testes the plugs by swapping sides

  3. looking to get a temp gauge so i can tell whats up and when i should shut down. looking for a good one nice and clean. i have no fenders sooo that leaves the radiator shroud i guess.

  6. if he does post in here he will say the 450 blew up then it went on fire which made his house catch on fire. story after story.
  7. yea of course i would too but you know a 20.00 oring kit and a little labor and time can tell alot .
  8. Nothing we can do but fix it. Kid lived 6hrs away. New crank new jugs and pistons re porting. That's all we can do. Funds were supposed to go to powder coat and clean up the bike. But all hq should learn from this. Meet in day light with no plastics on bike confirm the bore and everything. If people don't wanna tear it down a little to confirm don't buy it. Take the head off leak down test compression test. Cause thing like this make it very expensive and puts you in the hole before u even get use of a bike. I gave the bike a compression test and it was a dead 151 in both cylinders.

  10. can be your clutch. if you were haveing trouble shifting into the next gear i would sat get a shift star.

  12. I couldn't agree more. There are just isn't a nice way to put this in words. So I will keep posting pics. The cases will be split tonight after the flywheel get cut off do to it being self welded on the crank basically.
  13. Person claims that he bought the .30 over pistons and installed them. Also said he would have never put the cylinders back on with out a cylinder skirt missing. So truth be told the bike is .100 over and a skirt is mia any other opinions where it could be. Me and the kid have been in contact and I'm honest about the condition of the bike and the disappointment the day light brought. So he comes back with oh the cam berring is bad on the 450r. Then I tell him the news about the banshee blowing up and the truth on the motor what do u know he calls me 24hrs later and says oh the 450 blew up on me today. Later found out he put 93 in a high compression motor. I was clear with him that it is a high compression piston and it needs 110.

  17. look at my shee in the pic!!! at work we have commercial grade floor sealant and wax.same stuff that keeps the floors shinny in supermarkets. sand with a high grit like 600 then 4 coats repeat the until its mooth like glass then maintain with mild soap and rinse. when they get shitty just sand and do it again.
  18. i have used this kit w/o antiseize and with locktite no problems what so ever. didnt even know i was supposed to use antiseize. also never broke a bolt.
