  1. Trade it in on a Ford J/K. It's just the switch most likely as daj said should be a easy fix.
  2. I just used Blumagic metal polish and elbow grease and they turned out great. The Blumagic can be bought at any autoparts store or wally world.
  3. Honestly no they wont a T-6 Is made for a stock bike, once you start putting a lot of mods on the T-6s will choke the bike out. T-5s would be a better choice for what you have. Do you have stock carbs on there? 280 mains seem awfully small for a 4mil bike to me.
  4. I got your PM and I'd love to go riding. The only problem is I'm not in to going in circles so the track thing is really not my thing. Whenever your ready to go to Greenridge or Treverton I'm definitely down with that.
  5. Damn JD that really sucks I wish I was in the area because I would gladly pay him a visit. I hope this all turns out well for ya.
  6. No shit stirred bro no worries. I know you say your happy with performance today but believe me and everyone here will agree you wont be happy as soon as some piped and cammed 4poke hands you your ass. Then you'll be right back asking what to do next to beat him. This shit happens here every day, But what ever you do I hope your happy. Keep us posted. Do you know what bore your on? I have a set of vitos forged superstock that are for 20 over I'll give you a sweet deal on they're pretty much brand new. I removed them because I had porting done they only have like 10 hrs on them at most. Also one more thing is if you sell the cool head your only going to get enough out of it to get that stock head milled and rechambered plus shipping. So what are you going to gain from this.
  7. Sorry didn't notice that, but with that little bit of info my opinion would be to buy some cylinders already set up and ship only once. Since he's on his last bore it definitely couldn't hurt to much though. I'm just one to do it once and do it right, just remember you can spend a dollar trying to save a quarter. That's equipment expense as far as Dremel or die grinder and all the attachments needed along with gaskets not counting all the down time and if you fuck them up your going to have to buy new ones and have them shipped anyway. I'm sure he could find a good deal on a complete setup. Bolt it on and be done and I'm sure shipping would suck but that's just the way it is.
  8. First off I want to say that I respect your opinions a ton daj, but I just wanted to say that I always run an 18cc dome but the 2 times I've been to the hatfield mccoy trail system I changed out my 18s for 20s so I could run pump gas. Places like that where you ride so far from town to town and pull right up to the pump for gas its a little difficult to find race gas. But again you for sure know your shit daj and in no way am I trying to argue any point. I'm just stating what I've done and by the way to the OP I agree about the chariot head. I know in my sig it says a vitos hemi head but that head is made by chariot.
  9. I see your kinda new here so you missed all the drama that was created by a member over this same question. Now to answer your question in my opinion I would keep the coolhead and sell the stocker. The coolhead is better then a stock head because. 1- they use orings instead of gaskets which means they can be reused unlike gaskets. 2- they have changeable domes which means you can change compression very simply. 3- the word is that they run cooler but this is under debate by some people 4- up the road if or when you decide to step up to a 4mil all you have to do is have some domes cut. 5- they look much cooler then a stocker. If you do a search on coolheads you'll find the thread, but be prepared to do alot of reading. Also a milled head still isnt as efficient as a cool head unless you have it rechambered also.
  10. The best suggestion I have for you is dont do it. Send them to someone that knows what they are doing. I would send them to Jeff @ FAST.
  11. Hey Bro welcome to the one and only BHQ. Post up some pics of that beast.
  12. I'll just add one more thing and that is when I had Jeff @ FAST do my porting he told me that for what I do ( which is all trail and fire road riding) keep the Pro Circuits for low end. But if I wanted to go more for top end for dragging and such get a set of T-5s because they were more of a top end pipe, now this is coming from Jeff and you all know he knows.
  13. I would agree with it being to lean. Sounds like you need to do a plug chop, thats the only way to tell for sure. But just to let you know pilot jets control fuel from idle to 1/4 throttle and then the carbs switch over to the mains from 1/4 throttle to WOT. So if its bogging out at high revs that sounds like a lean condition. As stated earlier give us a list of your mods and elevation and I'm sure someone here will get you going.
  14. I bought a new choke from the stealership and I thought it was less then $20 and they had it in stock. A blaster has the same one if this helps.
  15. Would you be willing to sell the 35s without the filters and outerwears? I could use the carbs but the rest is of no use to me.
  16. Welcome to the one and only BHQ. Looks like you got yourself a project there, but dont get frustrated and dont listen to the ones that say that it looks rough some of them guys here own banshees but dont really know shit about them and dont really listen to anyone trying to help them. Well one of them anyway. You definitely came to right place for info, tech and parts. Theres plenty of knowledgeable people and some kickass sponsers . As far as a swinger if that thing is really a 4mil I wouldnt go shorter then stock on the swinger. I personally run a +4 swinger and love it its still good in the trails and when I drag I can still launch without the fear of flipping.
  17. When I bought my shee the dude gave me a brand new Motion Pro one still in the box, so I tried it out. And let me tell you I couldnt get home fast enough to take that piece of shit off. Not that it didnt work right, but as said earlier they can be dangerous. Just to add I ride dirtbikes and I also own a Harley so I'm pretty accustom to a twist throttle, but I would not have one on a quad period.

  19. Pro Circuits for sure I love mine.
  20. Well guys I took a nice 125lb doe saturday evening. It was to dark to get pics and I was in a rush to get her to the processors because it was kinda warm out. Good luck guys
  21. Also remember that after you shut motor down keep the clutch pulled in until you come to a stop so that motor dont turn over, this could give you a false reading if the plugs get wet.
  22. Personally I think even the 280s are going to be to small. If I was you I would pick up a few sets from 300 to 340 you can hit Jeff @ FAST to get single jets. Then I would try a 300 and do a proper plug chop and then go from there. All bikes are a little different and all anybody can do for you is give you a starting point. If you run the thing lean you will burn it up and also just to let you know a shee will run its ass off with a slight lean condition until it blows, so whatever you do make sure you do a plug chop.Oh and make sure you have a 27.5 pilot jet all shees with aftermarket pipes should be running a 27.5 pilot jet. Good luck and welcome to the BHQ.
  23. Welcome to the one and only BHQ
  24. In all reality the call was in line with the rules, but I have to agree it really sucked ass and it wasn't right. If that would of been the Pats it would of been a TD.
  25. Welcome to the one and only BHQ. X2 on ditching the boost bottle and doing a leak down test.
