Definitely a sweet bike. You'll have to pull the head to see what pistons are in there, and as far as stroke just pull a plug and rest something on top of the piston and turn engine over and measure the travel of the stick, dowel, screwdriver or whatever you use. someone else hopefully will chime in with the stock travel measurement because right now I cant remember what it is exactly.

The only thing you need to ride at Busco is a helmet and goggles. No Registration, insurance or title is needed, the only paper work you have to do is sign a waiver in case you get hurt. This is private land not a state park, so this means there should not be any DNR or police unless they're called for something. I think the date should stay only because people are already planning on this, But I dont see why we cant all hook up there later on in the year again and have a big ole BHQ bash.

The more the merrier, it dont matter what they ride as long as they ride. I dont know about the all man thing though my girl and my sons girl are as excited as us to go. I'll be bringing my shee 2 blastys and a polaris 330 trail boss.

I'm thinking the same thing, the more vids I watch the more excited I get. We just need to get a good turn out. I'm going to be tenting it most likely. I will probably head down thur. so i can try and get a good spot on a point or something so we can have the BHQ group kinda together.

I think this their first BHQ ride there but if you look in the St. Joe thread there should be a list of the peeps that are going. Chances are the flywheel is still good. As said before you probably didnt tighten the flywheel down enough, that nut calls for 62ftlbs. What most guys do is just tighten with an impact gun and I use blue loctite not red. The reason I use blue loctite over red is that red you almost always have to heat it up to loosen it, which could damage the flywheel or stator if it gets hot enough IMO. The valve lapping compound is a great idea or use emory cloth. And yes clean up shaft and inside of flywheel where it slides on the shaft before assembly. If the broken key didnt score nothing up just bolt it back together and go.

Where are the rest of the East Coast boys? We need to make this ride at least as big as the St. Joe ride.

Dates are going to be May 13th, 14th and 15th thats 2 weeks before Memorial day, its the same weekend as the St.Joe BHQ Ride

I just got off the phone with Busco, they seem like really nice people. They are a 24/7 operation you can ride all night or just kick back and drink all night no quiet time here. Tent camping is pretty much you roll up and set up somewhere around the lake, they also have elec. and sew. hook ups for the rv people and generators are ok. And as far as a date how about we do it the same weekend the other BHQ ride is happening May 13th, 14th, and 15th. I think it would be kick ass to have two BHQ rides on the same weekend a thousand miles apart. So there it is Busco Beach is the place and the dates will be May 13th, 14th, and the 15th. Come on East Coast lets make this happen.

PA would also be a lot closer for me also. The only thing is where do we have it at in PA that aint gonna cost everybody a ton of money to just ride for a weekend. I think Treverton would be great, but wouldn't it cost everybody $100 for a RAC permit. Lets here some suggestions from some people that know some places. Theres a couple of state parks here in MD that allow atvs but they're not really that big for a whole weekend of riding.I just checked out Busco Beach and it looks like a pretty cool place and it's 5 hours from MD and about 8 for you bode1.
