It's an O ring that goes on the end of the tube behind the water pump. It's never happened to me but I've seen the ring and heard that it leaks some times.

I run 80:1 and I have no problems to report. I rode the other day in 20 degreee weather for hours with no jetting changes and still ran great. I use the 100:1 oil and pour 1 bottle in with 5 gallons. No ratio right, just pour, fill and go. I can send you a bottle to try if you want

If you can get $800 for it locally and you're happy with that, then take it. You could try to part it out but it's unlikely you'll make alot more money and probably not enough to make up for the effort of taking it apart, listing each piece, packing and shipping and a million trips to UPS and deadbeat bidders etc. Don't get me wrong, I love ebay. But if you can sell it whole for a decent price where you live, I'd do it. The other thing is shipping a whole ATC will be $200 for sure and you'll have to crate it and deliver it to the airport or to the trucking co and it adds to the cost. So is someone going to spend $1000 or more on your ATC? Maybe not.

Run off a list of what you've bought and maybe put up some pics. There's no reason for you to get your undies in a twist over this unless P4 is your mother or something. For example,I had a local shop put an engine in a car for me. The shop said it was low miles but it had a rod knock when I picked it up. The guy said no problem. About a week later, I go to the shop tp check on the car and there some guys there padlocking the door. Turns out the shop owner never paid rent and was evicted. I asked these guys about the money I spent and my car. They said if your keys are in that pile over there, get your car and go because everything left behind is ours. I jumped in the car, started it right up and drove away. And with a new engine that ran great. People warned me not to use this guy but I did. And it worked out great for me. Other people got totally screwed. The end result is that we all have more info to make good decisions with when we spend our hard earned money. Who in the world would have a problem with that?

Back in the early 60's Chrysler used to have this mammoth dual quad intake on the 413 wedge engine. One carb sat up front by the grill and the other one set way back by the hood hinge. They were said to have awesome power because the long tract allowed the fuel more time to atomize more fully. I see no disadvantage to the longer intake tract. In fact I think this Y shaped intake probably flows better than the Trinity because the flow is more direct to the intake instead of at a 60 degree angle like the Trinity. You also have the advantage of not having to use the obsolete carb boot required on the Trinity. The carb sits up slightly more and rearward more so there's no interferance with the clutch arm and the cost is significantly less. The only thing you won't have is the airbox and as far as I'm concerned, they're just about useless anyway.

I just got some more pics from the guy who listed it and I think erbilabuc is the closest so far. I'm almost totally convinced that it is a champagne bottle cork installer and then the foil is pushed over the top of the cork with the spring actuated fingers on all sides. What do you think!?!?!?

Hey I'll live til 2055 and won't kick off until just before I'm 89. AWWWW crap... I just refiggerd and I'm gone in 2040. I still make it to 74. Man I'm gonna miss that extra 15 years. I better lose those 6 extra pounds NOOOO WAITTTTT. If I'm optomistic about beaing 6 pounds overweight, I can get back up to 2054. That's the best deal... be happy about being fat!!! LIFE IS GOOD I still don't plan on dying but either way I've still got some time.
